anyone have one? Any pros and cons? Is it considered cheating or dirty if you have more than 1 fwb or if the benefit that other person get is $?
This can be true, but there are certainly exceptions. I had a couple of FWB's before I met my sweetie.
Yup usually if you get a FWB they eventually wanna date you, and once that is revealed everything is ruined.
If the "benefit" is $ then "friends" is not the word you are looking for. Many of the females in FWB type relationships are under the impression that there are mutual feelings or will eventually be a relationship. If you're looking for this, best to make your intentions clear. The female world is full of lots of disappointed ladies who complain about being "used".
I was never in that kind of situation, Isabel, as my BFW's were actually just friends. Heck, one lived in the garage apartment next to mine. When Seinfeld first came on, Kramer and Jerry reminded me of it. She was a Hawaiian chick going to Rice who would knock on my door from time to time after a date, usually quite late, and I was always up. Heck, I wish I could claim credit for this particular situation, but it was her idea. She was beautiful, inside and out. I don't doubt what you say, though, only that they are not all like that.
If you play your cards right, it's all pros. Just gotta make sure you keep her on the team, but don't spend more than 2 nights a week with the same girl. On the 3rd night, it becomes a GF. It's not cheating or dirty to have more than 1 fwb, and the benefit can't be $. That's a hooker/escort/prostitute.
Whoa! Was that in the original post in D&D? I must have missed it. What does money have to do with FWB's?
He might be. Why else mention money in the OP? Money never occured to me. Maybe that's why I skimmed past that nugget.
Some people need money like paying for rent, a new iphone, or a golf ball sized crack nugget. I wouldn't go there if you want anything more out of it. When the money dries up, it gets nasty.
Yep. Was going to say the same thing. If the benefit is money for sex the legal term is "prostitution". That doesn't mean you can't be friends with a prostitute but when people talk about "friends with benefits" they aren't usually referring to that. I mean that would be like saying your bartender is your drinking buddy.
