    Pre-acl injury rose was better.

But Irving is young and I think he will end up being the best point guard in the nba, Irving is quick but he doesn't need to rely his game on athleticism( rose, John wall, Westbrook), irving is all skills

Also my favorite point guard before this season and all the uncle drew commercials, this kid is old school and knows how to shoot play the game

Comparing his MVP season to Durant and Lebrons current seasons? I hope you are trolling. And since when is averaging almost 4 rebounds a game as a point guard bad? Not to mention they put Lebron James on Derrick Rose to shut him down during that match-up, something his team couldn't compensate for because he carried them. Anyone else in Rose's place would have been shut down as well.

Also Rose's team didn't pick up his slack for him to even be productive. Deng didn't break out till the last two seasons. Noah's offense was pathetic and boozer played like ****. Who was their shooting guard again? Oh yea..

Bulls team was all defense that year and Rose Carried most of the offensive load throughout the season and playoffs. They miss his offense even now. 70 ppg against contenders on the 2 losses.

Btw, they put Lebron on Irving when they played last week. Guess what happened..

Durant averaged 31 PPG on 55% shooting and didn't have a single game with TS% below 60.

If I had to pick right now I'd say Kyrie. That is only because of the uncertainty of Rose.

If I had to pick Rose of last year (pre injury) or Kyrie this year, I'd pick Rose and it wouldn't be close.

Bulls bench carried that team(Watson, Korver, Brewer, Gibson, Asik). They were ranked 12th on offense so it's not like Rose made them an elite offensive team, it was far from that. Chris Paul would've easily made Bulls top 5 offensive team.

You are obviously going to drop offensively when your starting point guard is Nate Robinson or Kirk Hinrich and you have no bench anymore.

Scroll down to the part that says "Playoffs". I like Kyrie, but he hasn't proven anything yet.

Do his teammates rally around him like the Bulls around Rose? (I actually don't know.)

His production went down in the playoffs, what does that prove?

Bulls are 5th best team without him and without bench.

You KOFs are just as bad, if not worse, than LOFs. You prob fantasize about getting teabagged by Kyrie while he's wearing the full Uncle Drew getup.

    This

Irving is already greater than Rose ever was.

Rose was gifted into a playoff team. His did not deserve the MVP, but Rose was no doubt a 4-5th best player that year. Durant, Howard and Paul were far greater in impact and advanced stats. Rose benefited from the media fabricated narrative of the Chicago rebirth.

You can't compare Rose's situation with Irving's. Bulls are now comfortably in the playoff while maintaining one of the best defenses in the NBA. In fact, Irving landed in the same situation as Durant. In fact, Irving has led the Cavs to a better record than Durant to Thunder their respective first two years.

When Irving's career is finished, we will remember as one of the greatest players of all times.

    Pre ACL Rose > Kyrie.

Rose has never averaged less than 6 assists per game since his rookie season and had gotten it to 7.9 assists last season before his injury. Kyrie's never averaged even 6 per game.

Kyrie plays more like a shooting guard than a PG. He has a tremendous offensive skillset to score the ball, but he's never even hit 6 assists per game and he's supposed to be a PG.

I haven't seen much ability to carry a team or make those around him better. Maybe that will come with age and experience but then maybe not.

Also, defensively I think Kyrie's pretty terrible. There's a reason why coach always has someone else defending Kyrie's man instead. He needs to get better on the other side of the ball, right now he's all offense.

I don't get it. I'd take CP3 or Parker over them.
