Doesn't Ellis have a tendency to have big games against the Rockets? I may just be recalling only a certain game or two, but it just feels that way to me when I think about it.
It feels like every game from now on is a trap game. I guess this is what it feels like to feel your team is THIS STRONG.
There are more trap games against us because we're one of the least experienced teams in the league and prone to up and down play.
Yes he kicked our ass last year when he was with GSW. 13-23 for 33 points. However, he did struggle when he played against us this season. 5-19 for 12 points.
Agreed except for #3. We were 6-12 against top 10 teams in terms of pace. The bucks are the fastest paced team in the East. They are also the 10th in defense in the league. Will be a blowout win though if we tune up our defense.
Bucks play the Mavs today and are coming into our building. Can't lose this one. Especially since we have a chance to edge closer to Utah and give the Lakers the full stiff arm.
The key is to attack the rim early, get their big men, especially Larry Sanders into foul trouble. With Sanders in the paint, the Rockets field goal percentage drops significantly, but he's mostly a shotblocker, not a low post defender, so a hopefully we'll see more than a few post up moves from DMo and Asik.
