you don't need to post this to comsume the bandwidth. i watched all rox games. i have the league pass and can go back to watch again and again. one game highlights means nothing to me. i would be glad to watch all his post moves no matter success or not if you like to spend time on them.
It's a total straw man. There is no valid comparison between missed shots and blocked shots, because shots that are not blocked have a chance to go in. It's an apples and oranges comparison, because it excludes half of the result if your shot isn't blocked. An apples to apples comparison would be between blocked shots and unblocked shots.
Ah, gotcha I see what you mean. That's fair. I guess the way I'm looking at it is "if it's going to miss, it's better to be blocked", but I get your point.
Asik Patterson Morris Smith or Asik Dmo TRob Smith No question the last rotation is going to make us better.
Considering these stats were taken while playing for the Kings in a less than optimal role, I wouldn't put too much stock in them. If he is utilized here too his strengths (rebounding, put-backs, blocks), then he'll have better numbers. If he intends on camping out on the perimeter, forget about it.
Nice stats and arguments over how TRob has done so far playing with the kings... BUT i'm all for holding judgement on him until I see how he plays with our team for a little while. He may just fit in better here than he did there. So let's see what he brings to our team before we say he is a bust or not. I'm not expcting him to be a all-star PF at this point, but I do think he can give us something we did not get from Patterson or Morris consistently and that is being active on the boards on both ends. He is a much better athlete than Patterson or Morris right now. He will surely play with lots of energy. Should be fun to watch.
I do see your point but bandwidth is only consumed if the play button is pressed. But I will go back and remove the video. I have league pass also and have seen every D-Mo game this year. I also watched 75% of D-Mo's games last year in Europe, many times on bad feeds. So I do know that D-Mo has one of the slickest post games in the NBA, even though he has only had 100 NBA minutes. I will hazard the statement that he pretty much cannot be defended without a double team within 6 feet of the rim. That of course is when he is playing within his game. Like all rookies he sometimes just loses his head and does dumb stuff.
Because old school power forwards like Karl Malone and Charles Barkley were so tall (6'9 and 6'4 respectively). Wanting your power forward to be 7 feet tall is not old school. That is something that has come about in the Duncan, Garnett, Nowitski era. Previously, power forwards over 6'9 were the exceptions, not the rule.
If you want more evidence of Sacramento's guards' ineptitude, look at Demarcus Cousins' numbers. Only 43% of his points are assisted! People criticize Cousins of his low TS% but I venture to say he could easily put up TS% of .55+ if he played on a team with guards who can get him the ball in easy situations. His PER would probably in the mid 20's if he didn't play with the Kings.
you don't need to remove the clip. i am kinda joking about it. i saw sometimes he just threw the ball to the rim and hoped good thing would happen when he moved but tumbled due to strong defense.
