    I've been a pretty big sports radio guy for the last 5 years or so. Started off when I randomly caught Calvin Murphy's old show one afternoon on 97.5. I exclusively listened to 97.5 because I thought that AM radio sounded like crap.

    Recently I started listening to 790. The content was good enough for me to ignore how bad it sounded. Then suddenly this morning I hear a commercial saying that they simulcast in HD on 93.7-2! The quality is amazing! No white noise when I drive under power lines or when I'm next to an 18 wheeler, just perfectly clear radio.

    If you don't have an HD radio and are a 790 listener you should make the upgrade. It's worth it.

    Additionally, I'm typing this from my phone because my one year old Lenovo laptop from work is getting upgraded from XP to Windows 7. So yeah, it's been a Great morning and its not even 9AM yet.

    Not sure about that. Sometimes they forget to make the switch right away but they normally correct that before long.

    I have 8gb of shared data between my wife and I, and it comes down to the wire already. So the app wasn't an option for me.

    I hate paying by data usage. these service providers got us hooked on unlimited data usage and now that technology has great applications they want to roll back the clock. F'em

    Yeah I've caught it on there a few times also but when I listened they eventually switched over to national programming. But I have Comcast so I don't listen to games on radio much.

    Same here, but they I hear they throttle your speed to nil if you go over a certain amount, so it's all relative, I guess.

    You guys on AT&T can still buy a phone for a discounted price after your contract runs out and still get unlimited data? With Verizon I have to buy the phone at full price. $130 a month is still outrageous for a damn cell phone plan, but at least Verizon is reliable.

    Its not really unlimited anymore. They throttle your speed after around 2GB so its basically like one of T-Mobile's unlimited plans.

    But yes, you still get discounted phones and what not. Verizon has really taken to screwing people on unlimited data plans.

    That wouldn't change anything, with the way 610 hires new hosts im sure they just find another schmuck that I won't listen to (ala nick wright) to take his place.
