OMG - I went thru this whole thread wanting to hear what T-Rob said and ended up skipping comments as soon as I saw the word "Lin". I didn't count but the posts that had the "L" word in it far outnumbered any others. Just patheic - and you talk so much about how LOF's ruin this forum.
You know what? LOF are not the only ones who talk about Lin, especially in this thread. You should at least read the comments to see whether those are compliments or complaints.
Point is I don't care which they were. The thread was supposed to be about TRob's interview not Lin. So don't tell Lin fans they talk about Lin too much - it's probably in reaction to all the anti-Lin comments on this thread.
I reread the thread. It's the asian reporter's fault. Everyone is just making fun of him and having a good laugh.
Fixed. I was terribly disappointed that there wasn't a black reporter there asking T-Rob whether he had hit Treasures with Harden yet.
What a bunch of condescending hypocrites! So do u laugh at Feigan or Friedman constantly asked our opponents their comments on James Harden?
They know he is the first and only asian american player in thee NBA. Is it really that hard to see why they have so much interest in Lin?
Come on. Why do you take it so hard? If there were a Turkish reporter following Asik around, there would be humor in that too.
Last time I checked, Lin was a pretty popular NBA player. More popular than skilled? That's been debated to death here. Still doesn't change the fact that Lin is more popular than Harden (see all-star voting results). Is that fair? Well that's life. It didn't really strike me as odd or funny that a question was asked about Lin considering A) there is literally scores of reporters following the guy and B) it's the job of said reporters to make anything and everything about Lin.
That would really be the best thing. I cannot wait for TRob to get on the court so I can see his play. Ever since the trade, people have already written small books about him being a bust or future PF on a perennial championship team. We have a really young team. We have a relatively new coach. But as fans, we have very little patience. It's amazing the many conclusions that people have drawn based on a partial season's worth of data. Patience and youth really do go hand in hand.
