We keep waiting for our next superstar. No need to get another max contract on the books if it's not really a cornerstone guy. Morey has proven almost to a fault that he is willing to sit and wait for the right opportunity. Love and Aldridge aren't locked into their teams for life.
i made a prediction earlier in this thread that the Refs would help the Lakers make it, and that we better somehow make it to 7th, maybe 6th seed with some luck so whoever was 8th gets screwed so the Lakers can make it. Now I'm thinking if this team keeps playing awful sloppy and playing down to competition we might not even make it with or without Stern's hitman squad of refs.
This team seems to win a lot of games they aren't expected to and drop quite a few that they should win. A consequence of being a young team I guess...
