so that a lot of teams will offer and ignore moreys real target. this is a copycat league. specially now a lot of teams are trying to mimick Morey moves.

NO. Asik is better: better rebounder, better defender, better attitude, better hair (ok debatable), better health, better knees (not up for debate), better upside.

Bynum is better at funky hair dos (donts), injuries, and scoring. Too risky. Lets go for the stud PF to complement Asik.

Just so you guys know, Eskin's a complete clown.

I guess I'd be okay with giving Bynum a one-year deal with our cap room if we can't get anyone else.

(I really do mean 'anyone else', by the way)

Ok Bynum has a higher upside, he is just way less likely to reach it

Here is a question for you guys. If HOU signed Bynum to a 1 year deal for say 10 mil would that give HOU Bynums bird rights after that year is done. That way HOU can give him a test run if he stayed healthy sign him to a 5 year deal after that 1st year.

Bynum is going to sign with the team that gives him the longest contract. He knows he is an injury risk and he will be willing to take the longest/highest paying but he wouldn't even take a max contract for just one year. He is going to shoot for the full 4-5 years.

Very high risk gamble considering his health. I would think more than twice before signing him.

Given how totally secretive Morey's front office is, it is next to impossible for me to believe that any source would have inside information. Unless Morey is floating red herrings to the league of course. Devious is Morey's middle name.

It's a nice idea and would be ideal, but there's no way in hell Bynum signs a short contract. With his injury history he's going to want the longest contract he can get.

Some team will give him the max this summer, just hope it isn't the rockets

lol I am surprised at all the "NO's!"

Do you guys remember what Bynum did against us when he played for the Lakers? He straight up dominated and if he had a level head he wouldnt of gotten those Techs and would have won the lakers those games. Mchale seems like a no tolerance guy. Bynum wont act like a B(@%#.

Would love Bynum on the team, not max contract, but if hes avab sign him up!

The "nos" because remind us how many games he played this season? Is it worth tying up a ton of dough in a guy who can't get on the court?

Also, some desperate team may offer him a max contract..who knows. take a risk on an upside player. I don't think we need him and there are healthier choices out there.

As Tim Olbrecht might say, NEIN.

If I had Luis Scola at power forward and Jordan Hill at center, I'd try to sign Bynum. But we have Asik at center and have to play Delfino at power forward and we have no depth at guard. You might draft best available athlete, but you have to trade to fit your needs.

What would we do with Asik then? We'd have to find someone to take his deal and seeing as how its structured I don't know if teams would be interested in that. Not to mention the fact that Bynum has knees that are nearly as deadly as Amare's. I seriously doubt we can insure his contract.

Andrew Bynums haircut(s) says we shouldn't sign him. End of story.
