Well knowing Lebron he'd probably still manage a near double double in rebounds and assists even if he struggles offensively. Yeah I know this really only applies to Lebron though

    Where did I say that?

You have multiple accounts and you just exposed yourself doing it. You forgot to log out of your other account.

That was and is my philosophy; bigs should play big. But.. He definitely didn't like me nor was he that great of a rebounder. Either way, I do regret it a bit. Sorta like when I yell at my kid sometimes. Sometimes you just gotta let boys be boys you know. I don't want to raise a well-mannered but broken kid.
Anyways, I do get heated at times and I do get sensitive over Lin stuff, but I appreciate you being level headed..most of the time lol.

I'm continually amazed how you guys ignore that McHale and Lin have a great relationship.

Except every sign points to Lin being happy in Houston and your stand in the corner is extremely exaggerated.

:confused:What multiple accounts? I only have this one. Could you tell me my other account's name? I'd like another one. And I am really sorry that I exposed myself in front of you. But my point is valid itself right? I mean, super stars should have higher stands for them since they have the capability. They shouldn't be pampered.

    THIS ^^^^

Most people don't understand. NBA is a business.

And for those who say McHale like Lin, just go ask yourself, which Rookie get as much minutes as Beveley? How long he is in the NBA? He played less than 10 games and already getting close to 20 minutes a game. If he is not Lin's backup, he would get garbage time.

Don't believe me. Just look at DMo, he is a good player, and should be get a lot more minute, but only get to pay garbage minute.

We are only having discussion because people are interpreting one line of quote to fit their own agendas. Everyone is just speculating and coming up with conspiracy theories.

This discussion has nothing to do with what Lin wants and everything to do with what Lin fans want.

McHale wants one thing (what is best for the team), Lin fans want another (What is best for Lin), thus Lin fans hate McHale. The end.

No one is a great rebounder to begin with man. You rather they learn young rather than come back at you later like Amare saying D'Antoni never taught him defense! He'll thank you later.

It's all good man now that I know you're a coach I can sort of understand why you are harder on McHale. Must be hard to watch coaches coach when you're a coach! I'm level headed to reasonable ppl!

My fault, the way you directed your post towards me made me think you were the same person.

It is so funny that Mchale becomes a considerate coach when someone is
    making a debate.

    It's cool Pollos :)

I believe he did say, Jason said it was snippet from an interview where McHale was actually praising Jeremy. I will say, hearing McHale's interviews, he's not really great with words. Actually, he's quite terrible :p, now I do think this is just another case of bad choice of words from him and the quote sounds worse than what he truly meant.

(I still want Jeremy to shoot more and stop being so dang hesitant though :p)

You missed the point. Lin is not doing what mchale wants (or enough of it) thats why mchale treats him that way.

That wasn't the point of my analogy though. The point was - it doesn't matter what McHale wants, Ownership is Lin's guardian angel.
Here's how it is at this point during the Morey and McHale era. They haven't made the playoffs. They're not Buford/Poppovich, Buss/Jackson, Riley/Spoelstra where Ownership sees them as integral to a winning organization. Morey went to the 2nd round once during his tenure here.
McHale himself an unproven coach that has yet to bring the Rockets into the playoffs, and Lin is an inconsistent player that keeps on laying golden eggs for the Owner. A lot of 24 year-old PGs are inconsistent, but not a lot of 24 year-olds make your stock dollars jump. If you're an NBA Owner, who do you think is harder to replace? A coach of what was/could again be a 9th seeded team, or the inconsistent 24 year-old PG that keeps on cutting you big cheques?
It's business guys. Lin's just being nice, and at the same time his passive personality is hurting his game. He's a smart guy, but he's probably not enjoying all that pressure and attention.
If he was really selfish, he could very well go up to McHale and say, "Here's how it's going to be. I'm going to bring the ball up, I'm going to take 20 shots a game. Harden can have his shots, or whatever - I don't care. But I'm taking that many shots - if you don't like it talk, I don't care. You have Les' number, go tell him we had this conversation." And Lin would get his shots in the next game. Because he's the goose that keeps on giving on a fringe playoff team.
This isn't a high school team or college hoops. This is a business. You don't piss off the guy who's guranteed to bank you cash as long as he ocassionally has a double-double, or 20 point game. Jeremy Lin is basically the NBA's David Beckham. He's never going to equate his own incredible hype as an athlete. He's not going to carry your team to the FIFA World Cup. He's going to make your franchise a ton of money as long as he plays well enough to be visible.
Again some perspective: Les could have hired any GM and any coach, and not make the playoffs again. Not making the playoffs is a big underachievement - over half the teams make the playoffs. What he can't easily get is a cash cow like Lin.
That's not a burn on a GM that I think is above-average, or a coach I think is doing an alright job. If they again miss the playoffs and Lin isn't content, Money talks, morey walks. So, this whole "Lin vs McHale" conversation is null.

Im gonna say it again after seeing 54 pages of bulls***. Knee-jerk, out of context reactions. The news site that published this is a joke, and has always been printing stupid headlines to draw readers and stir up controversy. You guys bit into this complete joke of a news article. The writer prob sees this damn thread and is chuckling to himself. Troll job accomplished.

Omg dude, give it up with your broken record. The only ones making stuff up, calling the reporter a liar and hypothesizing on what Mchale really meant are you guys. His quote is clear as day and in WHATEVER context it's an insult to Lin.
