I didn't see the movie idiot? Why don't you use your Contributing Member to check. What I meant by not knowing WTF "Argo" meant is that is it "Oh go" or "I'll go" or whatever that suppose to sound like something. Movie is full of BS. It's like an documentary about an arrogant Phil Jackson talking about himself that he was the sole reason that Chicago won 6 championships.
I haven't seen the film. And I'm an Obama fan. And this is the wrong forum for political comments. Are you drunk?
I agree. Inject the political, like Commo did, and expect a response. Apologize for referring to you.
Wow-wee wow-wee-wow, this is what happens when you live on torrents. I've been getting caught up on 2 Broke Girls and Suburgatory all day; what the heck did I miss here?

very sorry, cowboy behop, commodore and ATW- no reason for me to get nasty. comments withdrawn. peace out.
I like you Deckard but I disagree with you. This was one of the more enjoyable Oscar's I've seen in years. How could you not appreciate some of the many shiny and interesting moments tonight. My thoughts: -> Shirley Bassey's performance of Goldfinger was incredible and she got a standing ovation. I thought Adele also did a fine job on Skyfall. -> Les Miserables live performance was powerful -> TED the Bear was a funny moment especially the part where he said he was Jewish -> Jennifer Lawrence's tripping (classic moment) -> The memorandum section was somber. Barbara Streisand looked great in her song tribute -> Christopher Plummer's appearance and the Sound of Music reenactment scene (hilarious) -> Christoph Waltz getting another Oscar from a Tarantino flick! -> Ang Lee winning Best Director (but Ben Affleck and Kathyrn Bigelow should of also at least received nominations) -> Finally Seth McFarlane. He was sharp and the real winner tonight.
That's bebop's shtick, he loves getting pissed at trivial crap and freaking out at people who disagree with him. I'm pretty sure he's a Brian Kagy creation.
Yeah, it's an awards show. The awards show. Tell me something. Did you think the host of this Academy Awards did a good job? When he made the crack about getting "into Lincoln's head," did you find it funny? Honestly, was anything he said funny? If so, I must have missed it, and yes, I was sitting at home watching the thing. Thanks for the kind words. Now, I'll reply to your comments. I said what I thought of Shirley Bassey's performance. She's a fine singer past her prime. I remember seeing Goldfinger when it first came out, and the song remains one of the best of the Bond theme songs. My criticism of her looks stronger in my post than I probably intended. Why? Because right after it I ream out this episode of the on-going drama that is the Oscars. Again, I think McFarlane sucked. He was one of the worst I've ever seen. I haven't read any reviews of the awards show, but my guess is that the critics agree with me. I loved the Les Miserables performance. I thought the bear was stupid. The memorial for those who had passed away was powerful. They always are. That's one thing the Academy usually does well. Enjoyed Mr. Plummer and thought having the Nazi over at the door was lame. Christoph Waltz is a terrific actor and gave one of the more moving acceptance speeches of the night. Ang Lee is a very good director and he won for a very good film. Whether it was the best directed film of the year is up for argument, but it was an excellent flick. Why they decided to nominate 9 films for Best Picture is a mystery to me. I think it devalues the nominations. Why change it? Having Ms. Obama injected into the Best Picture nominations was rediculous, and I am a huge fan of both her and her husband. If she was going to be on the program, they should have used her in a different way. She could have said the same things she said without being involved in an awkward moment that wasn't her fault. It was the fault of whoever wrote and directed this monstrosity of an Academy Awards show. Seth McFarlane sucked. I hope that cleared things up for you. By the way, I've been watching the Oscars for over 50 years, so I do know a little bit about them and have seen many hosts come and go. McFarlane was undoubtedly one of the worst. Want an example of a brilliant host? Bob Hope. Another? Johnny Carson. And there have been other very good hosts. McFarlane isn't one of them. Naturally, in my opinion.
