Hrm, Argo? Not bad. I think Lincoln has the edge. Not a perfect film by any means, but it has that Oscar quality to it.

Argo was my pick for best picture. Lincoln and Zero30 were equally terrific. Ang Lee best director well deserved. And I think Renee Zellwegger was pissed drunk during the ceremonies.

Pretty much the projected winners won. Nothing really surprising. How was the actual show? I didn't get a chance to watch it.

Good lord... I've been watching the Oscars forever, and this ranks up there with the worst of the bunch. The clown who hired that fool Seth MacFord Fairlane to host this year's awards should be shot. Castrated first, if it was a guy, then shot. And why did they bring once great, but now 76 year old (and sounds it) Shirley Bassey to sing the theme song of Goldfinger? Have they all lost their minds? The Oscars have been overwhelmed by fools and idiots. Look, I freely admit to being a Democrat, for some context, and while she looked great, Ms. Obama HAD NO BUSINESS STICKING HER MUG INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE BEST PICTURE NOMINATION! I don't blame her, I blame whoever thought of the idea for screwing up the best picture presentation. How awkward was it when the winner was announced? They never went back to her. Why? Because she should never have been on the fooking show, that's why!

There's a lot more that I could say about how bizarre this year's Oscars were, but I'm going off in search of whatever booze and drugs Renée Zellweger was on that turned her into a zombie* so I can turn myself into a zombie too, and forget about the abomination that beset us tonight, that pure awfulness that pretended to be the Oscars. OK, now where is the good stuff? Lay it on me!

Maybe you two should "Argo **** yourself" or whatever that mean. The movie was totally full of BS and fictionalize just like Academy years after years. Imagine if Lincoln was fictionalize like that it would be calling for Spielberg's head for misdirection.

I thought Seth's whole Rat Pack impression was highly sexist. M. Obama was as an equally bad decision. The musical bits made the show feel like the Tony's.

....and Renee was looking especially lemony.
