No, it is Jeremy Lin bringing us all together. Kumbaya.

(Assuming he keeps getting better. I shudder to think what happens if he plateaus).

You lose all objectivity with that signature :(

"And he was smiling all the way, a beacon of normalcy, sanity, and joy amidst the typical Knicks chaos...And it made us all feel special. It made us all feel lucky to get to watch it."

this is nothing about LOFs. did mchale own those words? if he did, he is wrong, absolutely wrong. why do you defend him. as a rox fan, i want win. i don't care who scores most. if harden scores 0 and lin scores million but we win. i am happy. if mchale wants win, why did he care HOW we get a win? did lin scoring a lot cost a team win? at least i haven't seen it no matter whom he played for.

If you're implying I hate Jeremy Lin, you're completely wrong. I love everyone that plays for the Rockets.

I just don't think JL is as good as some his LOF fanbase makes him out to be.

You can look for your own shot all you want, but if you're not gonna make them or if you're just gonna F it up, then you might as well go back to deferring. Lin, despite his great games and his time with the Knicks, has NOT been a legitimate scoring option thus far with the Rockets due to his inconsistency.

I highly doubt players not named Harden would get the amount of touches that they have been getting if Lin shot 20+ times per game. Harden would always get his, and if Lin always tries to get his, then either Parsons, Asik, or Delfino will not get theirs'. However with that being said, the Rockets' super fast paced run n gun offensive style gives plenty of players enough touches; it is only when they are forced to play half-court offense (playoffs) that I can see potential problems with shot distribution.

    Not sure if serious?

I think McHale cares how Jeremy is handling the ball and being the court general. The turnovers have been bad.

McHale, while I don't think he is a very good coach, would call out other players, too. And he has.

You're not looking at the quote in its entirety =/

It is so sad that both '99ers and LOFs feel I am trolling this thread.

It just confirms that y'all can never agree.

I am different. I love Jeremy Lin. If you think I am trolling, search for one post I ever made that disrespected my Point Guard.

You can't find it. Do you know why.

because I love Jeremy Lin, and all the '99ers who disagree with me solely on the fact that the GARM and media are too focused on Lin, can go screw themselves.

    '99ers...go away

Jeremy Lin is our PG. Our best PG since our title years. I so have his back.

But LOFs, lighten up. You post with extreme stupidity, and it makes people like me not want to post.

No one is looking at that quote in it's entirety. It was clearly printed as a zinger at Lin. The question is, what were the words that came before and after it.

Whatever he was saying may have been poorly said, but this isn't like a presidential campaign... leaving out the context of the quote is bad enough in politics. It is ridiculous for a sports writer.

we're talking about win not TOs or other. if we win every game while TOs tops nba, do i care? no absolutely not. when lin had the linsanity, his TO tops the league but they kept winning. if you had min TOs but kept losing, what's point to low your TO?

Well, one reason is that I don't know how to use the search function.

But I'm kinda thinking the words you speak make sense, 99er though you be.

And, uh, I'm being facetious when I say 99er though you be.

You are expounding the same nonsense mchale did... When Lin scores 29 points odds are Rox don't lose. But when Lin doesnt score say 10+, rox have a tough time winning... and then everyone from fans on this site to the coaches put the blame on him.

Why is any of this so hard for you to understand?

Now now, don't go all facts on us. Mchale and all others here go with their "gut" about Lin. Either way, McFail failed Lin big time. Tweet morey and rockets media to get more detail on this!! Why would a coach call his player selfish??

No need for McHale to do this through the media. Why not do this behind closed doors? Memo to coach mchale , keep sh in house.

so what about we lost while lin scored 2? i guess you would be the first one jumping on lin. don't tell me you don't care. you care only on one side not the other side.

    AggNRox I agree.
The posters who are openly agreeing with Coach McHale's comment are only focusing on the "9 TOs" part. ( which Im sure just about everyone agrees with)

Whereas the posters who are actually reading the comment in its entirety disagree with him.

For those that have said they agree with McHale's comment, what do you make of Sometimes he’d rather have 29 points? Do you agree? Have you actually seen Jeremy aggressively looking to get his own? because I'd actually think it's the opposite.

What I also find odd is why he would clearly reference Jeremy's OKC game, where he got his 29pts, again I ask, do you guys think he scored too much? to the point where he was putting the team in danger of losing? because that's how I interpret his comment, I thought Jeremy played great that game

You are saying the exact same thing as mchale... Without basis in reality! I love these LOH. Tell me in which game this year has Lin scored 20+ but took way too many shots, shot under 45%, turned the ball over a ton, and have ignored open teammates?
