If Robinson's game evolves and he eventually becomes a starter AND we sign Dwight in the off-season, we can become the best rebounding team in years.

    Dwight - 12-14 rebounds a night.
    Omer - 5-7 rebounds a night.
    Robinson - 7-8 rebounds a night.
    Parsons - 5-6 rebounds a night.
    Harden - 5 rebounds a night.

Not to mention Lin is a good rebounder and we have Motiejunas and Jones coming off the bench.

My dream pick-up for this team is manimal. I really think if we had him, we'd be elite level next year just because he addresses our biggest weaknesses, rebounding, protecting the paint and physical play. Don't think the Wiz would go to Okafur for the last shot with Manimal eating him alive. Obviously Denver is gonna lock him up as soon as they can, and I honestly don't know anything about T-Rob, but it seems like he is a similar kind of player. If he can fit the kind of role that Manimal does for Denver, we will be so much better for it. More boards, better interior D, less second chance points, some toughness and maybe some god damn oops. Don't want to get my hopes up too high but he's so young it's hard not to get excited. Still can't believe Sac-Town traded away a Top 5 pick during his rookie season. What a bunch of clowns.

With Cousins, PatPat, and Hayes, should we change your name to Kingsfan? Thankfully we still have Terrence Jones!

i really think TRob just a sexier asset to throw in a trade this off-season in aquring our 2nd star.

bottom line is, we traded a better player (PP) for the hope that the lesser one will become better one day. and we're desperately trying to make the playoffs now. i really don't know what so excited for other than an extra "asset" to use in off-season trades.

People are excited because TRob has the potential to be our PF of the future which is something Patterson was never going to be. Sure he hasn't been great this year but like Marc Stein said, there is a reason that almost every one around the league is envious of the Rockets for pulling of the deal.

It's like the Rudy Gay for Battier trade ll over again. Except this time, we get the young college star.

We are likely a year or two away from drafting another Kentucky player, making Terrence Jones expendable for a trade to Sacramento.

That will only be the case if he at least flashes his potential in a few games this season (e.g. a 20 rebound game or something like that).
