Despite the great games Irving has been playing, does anyone else feel like since Irving crossed Knight in the All-Star game, more people have been suggesting he is on Paul's level?

Although I agree, Irving is a top 10 scoring (****, maybe top 5 before you know it) threat.

If they didn't trade that draft pick for Mo Williams they wouldn't have needed to trade Gordon for CP3. What could have happened is the Clippers would have kept Gordon then traded Irving for CP3.

    PG - CP3
    SG - EG
    SF - Butler
    PF - Griffin
    C - Jordan

Why they traded for Mo when they were far from making the playoffs that year still doesn't make any sense to me. Especially at the time both Griffin and Jordan were 21 yrs old and they wanted to pair them with then 28 yr old Mo?

LOL, CP3 ****s on Kyrie. It's not even close. Not to mention they'd be paying Gordon 13 mil to wear a suit on the bench.

They needed to shed Baron Davis' contract for cap flexibility. They had to attach a lottery pick for anyone to be interested. Cleveland had lots of cap space and wanted that lottery pick and lucked out when it became the #1 pick. That flexibility allowed them to re-sign DeAndre Jordan, Chauncey Billups, and others.

B line up would be super sick if they were able to keep Gordon healthy. While we're speculating we can always continue to dream about having swapping R.Sampson out for C.Drexler and the Portland's draft pick that year (1984, Not Sam Bowie but MJ) and have Hakeem, MJ and Drexler on the Rockets.

    Super sexy..

Too bad it wouldn't work very well seeing how badly Williams has been playing (knees?). Would have great potential to be really good though.
