Are the refs trying to get us out of the playoffs so that the Lakers make it?

The game should not have been that close. It's not the refs fault we can't hold a lead.

Probably because they have a guy named Dwight Howard on their team. I'm pretty sure he's the same guy whose been top 5 in the league for the past few years in free throw attempts. And stop making excuses for the Rockets. They clearly lost this game. And if you're going to cry like everyone else about the no call on Okafor then go back and look at all the times where the refs also helped the Rockets. Don't be a conspiracy theorist it's really annoying. We lost, get over it. Still what, 3 games over the Lakers?

Lakers have won some close games with officiating on their side in these recent wins. If they will lose somebody will have to blow them out

Rockets are getting screwed by the refs lately, but we also have a terrible coach

I told my dad at the beginning of the season that the lakers won't jell and that the rockets will get disrespected more by the refs when it gets down to playoff time

This game was passable...I guess, but the Portland/L.A. game and the Houston/Brooklyn game were the worst called games I've seen all year. Coincidence? Nope.

    To put it simply....

If you think the refs were the reason the Rockets blew a 17 point lead to the Washington Wizards tonight, you're delusional.

There's no doubt the NBA would love to see the Lakers bump us out. I heard Bill Simmons joke that in his new TV gig he was "contractually obligated" to talk about the Lakers endlessly.

    Posted in game thread:

Starting tonight for the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, and David Stern:

    Bill Kennedy
    Eli Roe
    Leon Wood

    Recent Games with Houston
    Date vs. Score
    02/23/13 @WAS L 103-105
    02/10/13 @SAC L 111-117
    11/19/12 @UTA L 91-102
    02/12/12 @GS L 97-106
    01/11/12 @SA L 95-101 (OT)
    03/08/11 @PHO L 110-113
    02/12/11 DAL L 102-106
    01/07/11 @ORL L 95-110
    11/17/10 @OKC L 99-116
    03/27/10 LAL L 101-109
    02/20/10 IND L 115-125

We're missing the real culprit for tonight's loss... ELEVEN STRAIGHT EFFING LOSSES in games with Eli Roe reffing... actually it might be even more, the site I'm checking only shows last 10.

(Disclaimer: I don't really completely believe this, but it's a fun coincidence)

Ya meanwhile Harden gets hacked, or bumped every time he goes to the hoop. He gets fouled even more than he gets the calls for which is a fair amount!

The REAL question is why in the hell was Delfino assigned to guard Okafor when the game was on the line. It was an obvious weakness.

Yeah. Wizards were smart to go at that.

With that said, it would be incredibly stupid for the NBA to step in here. I mean really really dumb since pretty much all Dallas, Portland, and Houston fans are pretty much suspecting this.

It's sad that most people will think this, but NBA refs are always suspect. I will admit that Harden has stopped going to the line, but he really didn't drive as often as he usually does tonight. Tough schedule a bit here and could just be tired, but March should be great for the Rockets. They should finish March leaving little doubt as to whether they will make the playoffs or not.

Well, there is only a 0.04% chance of this happening by chance, if we consider one game to be 50-50.

Lol @ people complaining about the refs. What about that clear charge on Parsons when NeNe stepped in as Chandler dished off to Asik for the dunk at the end? What about the phantom foul on Wall when Harden pulled up his dribble and was trapped in a double team towards the end as well? What about that travel on Ariza in the 4th qtr? You hardly see that call. What about the times Asik got away with traveling? What about guarding 6'10" guys in the paint with perimeter players?

Yeah, not a fan of blaming refs for our losses as well. There were some tough calls or non calls that didn't go our way but i've seen much worse officiated games. Stop worrying about the Lakers. If we're making the playoffs or not, it all depends on how our team closes out the season. We create our own destiny, not the referees. Come on now.

It has been mentioned on other forum by non-rockets fans.

Errrr, did you even watch the game? The refs were pretty fair...Quite a few calls went our way in the 2nd half. The Okafor hook call could've gone either way but the Rox didn't need any help losing tonight.

Watch yesterday's Lakers-Blazers game if you want bad officiating. That was the worst officiated game I have watched all season.
