Lin sick. Back to back. Shorthanded past 3 games. Beat two good teams in previous two close games. Wizards at home. Wizards playing very well lately. New guys playing more minutes for Rockets. Still, it was a close game. They will bounce back.

No one played good today except for Beverly, CP & DMo. There were too many stupid TOs most notably with Lin shy and passed to the wiz and Asik passed to the wiz. On top of that, you have many questionable calls from the refs. All of the above contributed to our loss tonight. On the bright side, the way DMo played today should earn him more minutes. McHale has to understand that putting Delfino at 4 only works when it's not on a B2B when the starters are tired especially Delfino since he guarded the bigger guy the night before. He is also the oldest rockets and he can't sustain the energy as good as the young fellas. Dmo needs to split the minutes with Delfino in B2B games in my opinion.

considering that the mavs and lakers are playing good basketball, losing games to lesser opponents start to become a problem

I really think PPat's mid-range jumpshot would have helped the Rockets won tonight.

Not to burst your bubble, but he played bad against the Nets yesterday, not just tonight.

No I'm pretty sure you'll never put it on Lin.

When someone says Lin has to improve on 3p% shooting, it's McHale's fault for making him do catch and shoots.

When someone says Lin needs to improve on his turnovers, his turnovers actually reduce team turnovers so somehow Lin turnovers are good turnovers.

When someone says Lin needs to improve on his passing, Asik needs to improve his hands.

When someone says Lin needs to be more aggressive, it's McHale's fault for being discouraging by subbing him out too much and yelling at him.

When someone says Lin is inconsistent, you pull out some bs graph about him being the most consistent player.

When he has a bad game, he has a flu or he "wasn't allowed to be pg."

etc etc, he's infallible to you guys. Seriously name me one criticism of Lin that hasn't had a combative reaction from the crazy Lin fanbase? I can't even think of one. You guy don't concede anything. You don't see people going crazy when someone says Harden needs to commit more on defense or Asik needs to improve on finishing.

Stop being so damn sensitive, it's unbearable.

Alot of you Clutchfans are ****ing morons

Yes, Lin was off tonight, but this ****ing coach does NOTHING to help his confidence but bench him and esp. benching him for PBev in the final seconds for defensive purposes. What the ****!! Lin is an INFINITELY better defender than Bev and is the best defender on the Rox, period lol

The Rox were not RUNNING anything regarding pick n rolls for Lin. Lin was I thought OVER passing some.

Harden made 3 to's in the final stretch of the game and others during the final minutes of the game and the Wiz scored, Lin JUST made 1 to! during the fourth.

None of idiots say anything or contend with the stupid idea that leaving in Beverley for extended length of time is acceptable esp. benching Lin, when Lin JUST LOCKED DOWN JWall during the last min. of play.

Also, even Brad Beal on the wiz said condescendingly they won bc "we let them shoot threes, bc thats all there doing, so we will live with that"

Rox shot 19-46!!! threes wtf, what kind of a coach allows that.

The coaches decisions on lin and his coaching in general lost this game.

he's helped the team become the #1 scoring team in the league relax people.

If Lin is garbage like you haters believe..... then you cant blame him for the loss because he isn't good/capable enough to help you win the game anyway in your book.

That's like me as a knick fan blaming pablo prigioni for a loss.

Actually, you didn't post in the last two game threads before tonight despite being active on other parts of the boards.
You post when Lin is off. Enjoy.

We're missing the real culprit for tonight's loss... ELEVEN STRAIGHT EFFING LOSSES in games with Eli Roe reffing... actually it might be even more, the site I'm checking only shows last 10.

(Disclaimer: I don't really completely believe this, but it's a fun coincidence)

We had 8x the dunks and layups against OKC because we didn't run HcHale's r****ded iso-initiated offense against OKC.

Washington basically switched to a zone. The post game interview with Bradley Beal said it best, "We were giving up layups in the 1st half, so we decided to let them take 3's instead. And it worked."

Too many 3-point attempts in this game. Not enough points in the paint or getting to the FT line.

Win you look at schedule there are certain games you know you SHOULD win and it's a BIG disappointment when you don't. I know you have to play the games and nothing is guaranteed but this is a bad loss. Hopefully it won't hurt them down the stretch.

It's always like this after a loss and Lin does bad. He gets criticized (some of it probably too harsh) , and all his fans go into full damage control mode trying to find a reason.

Pin this loss on the lack of defense and the offense throwing up 46 three pointers...
