yea but youre talking about a player failing his physical being the other teams problem.. if any player in a trade fails his physical then the trade is rescinded. thats why everyone is still saying they are worried.. have reports came out that all the phyicals have cleared..

my bad.... was thinking about the FA situation.
Patterson looks fit enough so did not put any serious thoughts into that

but I still think it is up to Sacramento to back out in that case... Douglas and Aldrich are still productive
It's not automatically a failed trade.

i think stern would step in, the maloofs would probably clear the trade either way since this trade was about saving them money before they sell..

Yeah, you don't have to pass a physical.

Like if the Celtics were to trade Rondo, obviously he wouldn't pass a physical. Dwight might not either. A team can still take the damaged goods as long as they are confident the player will return eventually.

Maybe it could fall through if Patterson had some issues we did not know about. He seemed healthy enough here though.

I am not sure if you personally knew about this but I followed Pat relatively closely.
He was going to have surgery in the offseason and playing through it and hoping to strengthen the leg.

McHale really hurt us tonight. He needs to have more confidence in his team and Jeremy Lin didn't bring his Nutz tonight at all.

Agree. Patterson and Morris weren't the best players but they fit their role well. I think trading 1 would have been ok but trading both leaving us to play small ball and throwing DMo to the fire is going to make it much harder to win games and we don't have much of a cushion.

    14...we were meant to be...

Dmo wasn't the problem at all tonight though.

Just relied too much on the three, Dmo got us a lot of rebounds that we would not have had with Patterson or Morris in there and hit some big shots all the same.

McHale played smallball on his on accord. He could have switched out Delfino so that the Wiz wouldn't have gone at the mismatch.

Really good news, it looked really bad the way his knee buckled.

How come they won't let met trade for injured players in 2k?

It sure did, and I say that as someone who is 100% for the trade. I was at the game tonight and I can honestly say that the Delfino-Okafor matchup was a mistake. Obviously I'm glad Delfino played a lot of minutes...just not at the 4. We'll never know if McHale would have gone with more Greg Smith given him leaving the game, but the best lineup tonight against a front line of Nene and Okafor was Asik and Smith, not Asik and Delino. Small ball has its limitations. Not having Pat there to at least get in someone's way made a difference. I hope Robinson can play some defense because this was precisely the type of game where we needed a physical front court player. Dmo is not ready to handle guys like Nene or Okafor defensively.

T-Rob's forte isn't defense, but I would imagine he's strong enough to handle Nene and Okafor, unlike D-Mo.

It's not so much 1 thing as its the combination of both - Small ball and DMo learning. Sometimes you can benefit from 1 but the other will kill you. It will be harder for neither to be a problem.
