It's a very random combination of stats - but I like it! I think Lin is actually underrated by a lot of people on this board now. I have him on my ESPN fantasy team (I know that is just fantasy basketball, but...) and he is ranked #29 on their player rater, ahead of people like Wade, Pierce, Ellis, Lowry, Dragic, Gay...

This is funny. As of now, Jeremy averages 1.88 steals, 2.95 turnovers, and 0.40 blocks, so he doesn't actually meet any of your criteria.

Kemba Walker 1.84 steal, 2.31 turnovers, 0.42 blocks. He actually meet one of the criteria

Not to mention Lin's raw stats(and everyone else's) are flawed, because Rockets play at the fastest pace in the league. And yet his raw numbers are marginal at best(13&6 on 43%).

Can't imagine if he still played for the Knicks who plays much slower. Knicks would look terrible if they matched his contract.

My guess was Lebron James, but his steals per game is like .2 off. Maybe if he has a few 2-3 steals games it'll go up.

I hate it when people cherry pick silly stats and act like they mean anything.

That's up for debate, right now Harden is a better player than Drexler was when he was on the Rockets.

LBj just misses that mark. He has 3 TOs a game but he handles the ball a lot more.

Not sure I'd agree. Drexler shot 50% in the season he came to Houston playing along side very talented players with Hakeem as the dominant scorer, and Houston didn't play at the pace this team does.

And Cassell is far more polished as a point guard then compared to Lin now. And Cassell didn't even play the full game since he had to platoon with Smith.

So to me this one is pretty clear. Maybe Harden and Lin will someday past those two, but they have a ways to go.

    1995 Drexler trumps 2013 Harden

And both 1995 Smith and Cassell were better than 2013 Lin.
