Not necessary. They're called reasonable people.

Why? Any reasonable person that knows he is young and young players are usually inconsistent will wait to see if/when lin developes. We don't need an acronym for every possible situation, we are just rockets fan.

Looks average, but even better considering its his first full 82 games.

This thread is about his first 82 starts, he has played more games. I think you were thinking of 82 games in total.

I honestly wonder if this is because most stars are drafted high, and high drafts usually go to lottery teams which, lets face it, tanked or is in rebuild mode. They can't help but excel because they're in a group of non-stars, aging vets, or scrubs.

Wow, please compare to Jason Kidd's first 82 games and tell me I'm crazy for comparing their games. I'm still pissed at people's r****ded responses to my QUALITATIVE comparisons of their two games in a different thread. I'm not saying he's anywhere near the player JKidd is, but Im telling you he is most similar to a young JKidd in so many ways--IMO a much more appropriate comparison than steve nash. Kidd is a better passer and rebounder, JL is the better shooter and scorer. Both of them rip balls away on defense.

JL is almost certainly not going to approach JKidd's stratosphere career wise. But he is going to be one heckuva ball player for many years. Hating on LOFs is one thing, but hating on JL's overall potential at this point is flat out trolling--even SAS is realizing this. (This is different than criticizing his game performances which he deserves as often as the next guy and is legit). His improvement has been eye opening. And when it's all said and done, he will never be forgotten, unlike a lot of bona fide NBA superstars.

He could also turn into a fairy and collect teeth for a living for all we know. Not likely.

He's banking on him being an above average pg. which he had gown flashes of being comfortably. That's what 8m for a pg gets you

So Lin himself says he needs to be more consistent. I made 1 little comment yesterday about him being inconsistent after complimenting him throughout most of the game and had more than 10 people trying to rip into me calling me a LOH, disagreeing with me, telling me to look at a graph that shows he's one of the most consistent players lol.

Yes well good for you for being a realistic fan. Lin is a good player but he can have some terrible games (as well as some great ones).
