I'll be delighted if TR becomes an energy guy off the bench; ecstatic if he turns into a quality starter. I do hope he'll get a chance to show what he's got to offer the team. It's legitimate 7-footer DMo I really want to see blow up. Down the stretch, I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia contributes the most out of this trade.

I fear more how far we can get in to the playoff with such a thin bench, coz I am sure we are clinching for the 8 spot and above

GLENDORA, Calif. -- A 17-year-old Glendora boy has turned an old cell phone into a Porsche through online trading.

Steven Ortiz made a series of 14 swaps over a period of two years, using the Craigslist website, to get his 2000 Porsche Boxster S, the Pasadena Star-News first reported.

It all started when a friend gave him an old cell phone and he had his eyes on a dirt bike.

Ortiz told KTLA, "I got to the dirt bike and I told myself, 'If I can get here, where else can I get?'"

He kept trading up, acquiring a MacBook Pro, a 1987 Toyota 4Runner, and eventually a 1975 Ford Bronco.

The Bronco, considered a collectible, scored him the Porsche.

Ortiz says he does his research first, searching the web for good deals. He also says you should never pay any extra cash for anything when bartering.

"I get so many people who say, `Can you trade my phone for a car?' I just say, `Yeah. It's not that easy,"' he told the Pasadena Star-News.

As far as successful bartering goes, Ortiz says anyone can do it.

"Anybody can do this as long as they put their mind to it. That's all it is -- your mind and your patience. You can't give up."

Ortiz's father says in this economy, many people don't have the money and are more willing to trade belongings for something they need but can't necessarily afford.

Ortiz hopes to go to college and study law or business.

He also says he is already looking for a new car since routine maintenance on a Porsche is pretty expensive.

"At 17, paying $1,200 for a tune up on a Porsche. I can do a lot with $1,200."

Ortiz hopes to trade the Porsche for an Escalade.

Completely disagree with the step back stuff. This team got better by getting rid of Morris and Patterson.

If we make the playoffs it goes to the hawks. If we don't make the playoffs we keep it

I'm sure Kings' fans will be watching closely to see which "NBA ready" player we draft for them.

    :)

So after Rockets develop Thomas Robinson into serviceable PF, we could trade him back SAC for Cousins.

Would it be accurate to say T-Rob's ceiling is Blake Griffin? I haven't seen him play much and from what I can get out of highlight videos, he kind of reminds me of Blake Griffin.

So we gave up on Morris then traded our starter for Morris' former backup.

That's probably his absolute ceiling (i.e., maybe a 5% chance of being that good).

A better rebounding Kenyon Martin is probably more realistic.

I think the main reason they traded for him is to use him again as a trade piece in the summer free agency. Hopefully we can entice teams to accept him in a package for Aldridge, Howard or Love.

I'm sorry guys, seen a lot of TRob and not excited at all. Dmo/Smith has more potential and now with 2pat gone, you're seeing them contribute more the last 2 games. TRob is a huge WIP. Why would Sac give up on him so easily? They didn't give up on Tyreke, Jimmer and Cousins.
