We're not moving the ball enough. The refs weren't calling contact, so the iso plays and drives to the hoop weren't working. We needed to move the ball around instead. Needed more rebounding in the paint tonight; Nets had 14 offsensive rebounds giving them way too many 2nd chance opportunities.

But short-handed, playing away, nice win. DMo is ready to play solid minutes. He needs to work on his defense, but the effort is there; he's extremely quick and offensively skilled. Anderson and Beverly are solid role players. Delfino was big tonight. Asik got owned by Lopez. Lin did not have a great game. Harden came through when it mattered.

    Love our team.

Yeah, but people with inexperience still usually find some consistency, whether they are bad, decent, good, or great. They kind of level out somewhere and make gradual improvement or stay the same.

Lin goes from great to bad like every other game.

Relax guys...Lin was a big factor in the first half and that counted towards the final W for the Rockets. Lin went south in the 2nd half and Harden showed up...neither of them played perfect. I'm not comparing anything but the best guard in the league had 3 assists, 3 TOs and 4 points last night so let's give Lin a break....Rockets won by 10!

Lin was sacrificing his body saving those loose balls on the ground.

wow what a game. MVP trophy almost went to the refs. Luckily the Rockets one in spite of their deviant efforts:

    1) MVP Award: Delfino
    2) Better Late than Never Award: Harden
    3) Breakout Player: D-MO
    4) Play of the Game: Lin to DMO bounce pass
    5) Nice Try but No Cigar Award: Asik for a daring post move that looked awesome and the ball just didnt go in
    6) Defensive Player: Asik
    7) Losers who can go to hell award: Refs

Only caught the first and I liked what I saw...D-mo, Smith and Asik all doing things in the post and off the pnr...we get some production from them and we will be scary-good

just from skimming the thread i would have thought lin blew it for us in the second half...people need to relax sometimes...hes young give hime some time...but listen to this

lin played badly second half...harden was below average...missing rotation guys....t-rob didnt play...AND WE WON

life is good if youre a rockets fan...take it easy guys! plus we have a pillow soft schedule late march...buckle up and enjoy the ride guys

I think Harden & Lin were both tired from playing 40+ minutes each verses OKC. Neither of them had the pep in their legs for most of the game and many of their shots were short. Both were quiet in the first half of the game but still found ways to help the team. Lin got helped get the bench going with some very good playmaking. Although it didn’t help either of them that Wallace played excellent defense at the beginning of the 3rd and stopped them from doing much to start the 2nd half. Even Harden had a tough three quarters and didn’t pick up until late 3rd quarter.

Houston’s “new” bench did well to help the team win tonight. Houston’s bench came up big at the beginning of the 4th to give them some breathing room and gave them a bigger chance to win. Smith and DMo both benefitted with more playing time alongside Harden, Lin, and Parsons. Delfino finally found his touch again and came up with several big shots late in the game.

Great team effort tonight and a huge win.

I never said it was McHale. Plus Nets should already know Lins offensive strength.. It was the refs... You can tell it by Harden not driving much todays game..

He complains too much about calls. He doesn't get fouled as much as he thinks. Just needs to work on finishing at the rim.

Lin's not the guy being paid to produce 18-8 every night, his performance has been more than adequate for his paygrade. He had a bad night, meh, it happens.

Both Chandler and Lin sucked today. Lin was good in the 1st half on the PnR with DMo but he was terrible in the 2nd. Had a nice basket during our scoring drought though. Some Chandler's boneheaded plays really turned momentum the other way. Nice to see Delfino and Beverley making their shots. Harden came up huge after forcing things in the 1st half.

D-mo shows promise so far but still a work in progress. I'm cautiously excited about this guy.

    freaking refs.
OK it wasn't lin's greatest , since his 3 pointer was off today, and he didn't take that many attempts.

But! when that Lin--->DMO train was rolling, it was like a untapped offensive dimension to the Rockets had opened. Really beautiful to watch, I think developing connection between these 2 players is going to be crucial for us in the future.

Anyway glad that we had Harden to switch on his God mode when we needed it.
