He did give up two of his precious PFs to get this PF, though. So there's that.

Why do we keep getting young players when we have a coach that doesn't like to play young guys. This has a Terrence Williams vs. Rick Adleman written all over it and to quote McFail I'd be surprised if he plays valuable mins this season

McHale is on the way out in the offseason I bet. Unless he wins Coach of the Year. The Rockets would have to go on a huge run and make the top 5 seeds for that to happen.

Played around 15 minutes or so with the Kings with them having Cousins and Thompson...I bet he wont get near those minutes or not at all with our coach lol.

I would be fine with him going to D-league the rest of this season to work on his game. Bring up T-jones and give him & D-Mo some burn with the rockets. T-Rob is very raw and will not be ready to contribute to a team making a playoff push. Let him have a summer & training camp to work with rockets big men coaches before we put him in the spotlight.

Hopefully he has a good attitude about that and steers clear from Royce down in Rio Grande.

I know this doesn't mean a whole lot, but T Rob is averaging a double double per 36.

If all he does is run the court, rebound, and slam the occasional putback/lob/feed, he will average a double double with 20-25 minutes of work per night. Remember, we have Harden and Lin feeding him the ball......not Tyreke Evans and Isiah Thomas. They will make his job much easier and simpler.

Omer Asik averages a double double by doing the exact same things mentioned above, except T Rob has the added demension of running the floor. If he just becomes an average defender over the next month, he will get plenty of playing time.

There's no way we go into next season with T Rob, Dmo, Jones, and white. I really want to see jones get some minutes, he looked the best in the summer league/preseason to me.

Hanging with Royce in RGV most likely.

Slow down. Breathe. You're getting wayyyyy head of things. Let everything play out.

Dmo is still very raw. People will assume he's a lock to back up, but who else was going to play against the thunder? You can't assume he'll back up when Robinson is actually in uniform and has had time to familiaruze himself with the team.

You can't play undersized every time/minute.

Robinson can be used to trade for Smith.

To stay with the iPhone analogy - most iPhone users upgrade their phone every 2 to 3 years. He just found onewith more promising features...
