As if it opposing 4s weren't hurting us already? Yeah, they might hurt us a little bit more at least for this year. But it can't get too much worse, Morris/PPat are near the bottom of NBA power forwards who have started games this season.
Note the second leg of the two back-to-backs ... both Washington and Phoenix will also be playing in their own second of back-to-back. Washington will be home-home, Phoenix will be away-home. Hopefully this is when we really distance ourselves from the Lakers. Lakers also have a favorable schedule ahead, with only @Denver, @ OKC and @ Indianna the real tough matchups. 3 back-to-backs to Mar 20 and more away games. But not real tough ones.
We'll see how McHale handles our vacuum and if the new guys can step up. This team struggles in back-to-backs and McHale might shorten the rotation as well. Would have been nice if the trade was done during All-Star weekend so we had at least some training to integrate the newbies but hey, if we can turn some lemons into lemonade and go .500+ in this cruisy stretch than play-offs HERE WE COME!!
true true.. ppatt recently has his moments though like against milsap in Utah or against the bobcats when he helped carry us with a win over them..
Robinson may not look as beefy as Pat, but he plays a hell of a lot tougher/bigger. That alone makes me think he'll at least break even.
Its either we are going to lose a bunch or we win a bunch. Last game was great but I don't know how the team will adapt to losing our 4s and if Dmo and Trob (if in rotation) will be able to pick up the slack.
Why so negative! Win em' all! That's the spirit! DD, coachbadlee, HeyPartner, BimaThug's handle and RM95 I called him and he said 17!
We have to fend off the Lakers who are poised to make a bit of a run. I think they are only a few games behind us and will likely stay there or closer from here on out. The Jazz seem like they are playing really well and not likely to stumble. My prediction is that the Jazz, Rockets, and Lakers will overtake Golden State which will be the odd team out. We'll finish with the 7th seed and face the Thunder in the first round. Book it
let's hope this thread doesn't come back to bite us in the ass. It seems like winning streak prediction threads always do.
The games in Brooklyn & Dallas worry me the most. Brooklyn because they're good at home & we'll betrying to find our rotation. Dallas because the Rockets can't even get a fair shake from McDonald's in Dallas, let alone from NBA refs.
Without our two PFs, may just kiss playoff goodbye. Hope we can get somebody good this offseason and make it all worthy.
