The reason Scott brooks and the thunder could get away with having terrible weak side ball movement is because they had an incredible play maker in James Harden Bailing them out. Having pure shooters instead of all around players makes better coaching much more important.

WTH? I didn't see a pick nor a roll in either of those videos. Are you saying the pick&roll crisis of 2/20/2013 was averted? Explain, please?

The Thunder will bring up the screener for the pick&roll and if the defense loads up on that side of the floor they'll simply swing the ball to the other side -- without running a pick&roll -- to take advantage of the defense being out of place and Westbrook's driving ability.

Here, looking at the two possession the Thunder did so against the Rockets:

You see, not only is Lin out of place (more so in the upper picture), but by brining up the screener the "normal" help-defender often will find himself totally out of the picture, forcing opposing teams into helping either one pass away (from either corner) or at the very least having to scramble around, which more often than not will lead to good shots.

The Heat actually didn't load up all that much in that one clip I posted, but because Westbrook has out of this world quickness, he's usually able to take advantage even if you're just a hair out of place.
