Another CF member posted the idea in another thread and suggested, that say, one of the twins was in bad foul trouble at halftime, they could simply sway jerseys at the half to give the troubled one a fresh start. This might prove useful if one of them had a particularly hot shooting night that was riddled with fouls.

I'm confused. Are you being serious or sarcastic? Because sarcasm would imply that you believe the Suns have a competent front office?

Dont know if Phoenix has thought of this, but in the future if Phoenix was to want to trade one of the brothers, but not the other, how would this play out?

Sounds like it could be an emotional trainwreck.

Nah, they know it's a business. Besides they're not that good to begin with, so really they'll know their place.

Well he said the cheeks were different. Marcus' sideburns stops whole markieff's is a full beard. Look at a pic of them together and you will see the difference of the cheeks

Quotes from Marcus and his brother Markieff...totally opposite of how classy Patterson was when he got traded:

Calling the Rockets a D-League team?! :p

"In Houston, I was just an asset, not a human."

Maybe he'll finally be the "franchise player" CX predicted he'll be, ha.

Yeah, it’s pretty funny how cocky he is and how he says the Rockets never gave him a chance…He had the chance to claim the starting PF spot when Pat got injured and he blew it by playing like crap. Oh well, hopefully Morey finds another second round steal with that pick, which right now is slotted at #37.

I do think he would have been much better at SF.

Always thought he could be a good scoring punch off the bench

Completely agree. Second round picks are becoming more valuable in the new CBA with the non guaranteed contracts and all. He's gonna be treated like an asset again with Phoenix because let's face it, the Morris brothers may have played well together in Kansas, but they're not good enough to make the Phoenix suns relevant. He'll probably be traded and pissed off again

when i saw him defend carmelo and lebron i was surprised at how effective he was. he made young player mistakes obviously, but still did a decent job.

i could never figure out why the coaching staff refused to let him play SF...

    1. Well, Marcus can say whatever he wants now. Have to give him credit for stepping up and earning minutes at PF even though he thinks he is a SF. I really don't care that he did it begrudgingly, the important thing is that he did it. Good for him.

We'll see how the SF experiment goes. Best of luck to him. Given how bad PHX is, he should get a good chance to explore the contours of his skills.

From what I see, though, while he has the ability to create his own shots as a SF, I am not sure he does it well enough and efficient enough to be a primary scorer/creator in the NBA (as oppose to a guy who score more off of teammates' assists). I hope he doesn't become one of those Michael Beasley types, who are just skilled enough to hurt your team.

He may not be happy about this whole "spread 4" thing now, but if this "primary scorer SF" thing doesn't work out (and there really aren't too many 14th overall picks who are the next Melo or Lebron), he has something to fall back onto.

    2. On the other hand, you can't really blame HOU for making Marcus play out of his natural position. The team is trying to win games as a team, not to serve the personal skill development goals of any particular player. It's about how you find a way to help the other 4 guys on the floor win games, not how everyone serves your needs.

we traded him for a 2nd round pick only 2 yrs after drafting him, I can see why he is possed.
