IDK about the "Islam" you follow, but the one he follows he has to say bismillah. What's your point? Why are you trolling Muslims who follow a different (and more correct version IMO) than you?

If you believe man wrote the Quran, then where does your belief in Allah come from? The Quran is the place where it says to believe in Allah, and if in your opinion man wrote it, and so you believe in Allah, then shouldn't you also believe in the other things "man" wrote in this Quran?

LOL @ adeelsiddiqui and trustme being the "religious police" of this thread.

Same mentality as the "religious police" e.g. in Saudi Arabia.

Yes. My mentality is the EXACT same as the religious police in Saudi Arabia.

    /sarcasm

If anything, your mentality is more similar to neo-nazis in Germany than mine is to religious police in Saudi Arabia. And I'm sure many posters on here would agree.

In b4 ATW starts crying about comparing him to nazis.

I wouldn't be surprised if alot of the Indian restaurants in Houston say they are halal even if they are not. I've seen people ask them and there like uhh yeah, and you can tell there answer isn't very confident. Plus considering how cheap Indian restaurants can be, and assuming halal meat costs more, that would make me think that they are def not halal. I would assume that a Pakistani/Muslim owned restaurant is much more serious about that though.

Didn't know that about Kasra though. I have always liked there food. Personally I can't tell the difference between halal vs not halal. I'm interested though, why do people think Kasra doesn't serve halal? If a place claims they do, is there anyway to prove that they don't, and if they don't can someone do anything about it?

I'm surprised though, didn't think this would be in D&D. I have a decent number of muslim friends and most of them eat pretty much anything as long as its not pork.

From what I've heard of slaughterhouse practices these days, electrocution, decapitation, concussive blows to the base of the skull, slitting an animal's throat is as or more human than those.

Who are you to determine what version of Islam is "more correct".

I was raised an Ismaili and we were always taught to question everything by the Aga Khan. Not to take anything at face value and follow it blindly.

I'm not trolling anyone. I asked someone else a question and you felt the need to chime in with your BS.

Managed to ignore my last post directed at you, cause I guess you didn't have an answer?

Please tell me how man did not write the Quran? Did the Quran descend straight from heaven on top of Mohammed's head?

Well that explains a lot. If you were taught by Aga Khan to question everything, did you ever question him? Or do you take him at face value and follow him blindly? I can't argue with you when it's clear you have a bias against Muslims and anything Islamic.

And I said his version was more correct IN MY OPINION. This is a public forum and I can chime to anyones question I want.

Any fool who would believe that a company who served pink slime as chicken nuggets would actually sell halal meat is a fool. Yes mcdonalds was wrong but please use common sense, these people deserve nothing. Look I know that their is nothing in any religious scripture that states thall shall not eat McDonalds but come on people if you went to live a legitimate halal or kosher lifestyle you should stay away from fast food at all costs. Swine is wrong to eat but pink slime is OK lol

Wow, people arguing which form of their religion is real is comedy gold. How about this... Statistically all your religion is more than likely not true.

The good news is you can do whatever the hell you want, and at least until you die you will not know if what you're doing is "right" or not.

There is no branch of Islam which considers the Quran to be written by God. It was narrated by Muhammad and compiled 50+ years after his death into one manuscript by Othman (3rd Caliph) only after half of those who had memorized the narration were killed in war, and not before setting fire to the multiple other versions which were in existance.

Whether God dictated it to Muhammad is a matter of belief, not fact. No one, including Muhammad, could prove such a thing.

Conservatives hate admitting this because it throws a wrench in their criticism of other religions, which are born in exactly the same way, even if the Quran showed comparatively less attrition over the years.

    No branch at all.

They just don't seem to want to say it. They know full well that Muhammad himself never wrote any Quran down (he couldn't read/write at that point anyway), let alone God.

    Damn...are you dense.

Do you answer any of the questions directed towards you?

If we were taught by the Aga Khan to question everything, then why would I not question him? I do not take anything at face value.

I have a bias against Muslims? When you are the one judging me when I said I was Aga Khani.

Gotta agree with ATW here. Some of you hardcore guys are seriously brain washed. Allah wrote the Quran...lol

    must be the ganja talking...

And one more point id like to make about atheists...they always find this incessant need to comically offend those that believe...

if you dont...thats fine...but stop trying to make us that do...change our beliefs...

But its so damn easy.... Imagine if the absolute belief in god and all the biblical and quranic stories associated with god was not as wide spread. Only a few believed in it. Those few would be considered schizophrenic, deranged, crazy for speaking to their "invisible" friend. The only reason religion is not seen as something crazy is because of the massive amount of people who have "faith". Unfortunately the definition of insane has changed into "an idea that is not held by the majority".

I agree people shouldn't expect McDonald's to be high quality but at the sametime shouldn't they be held to account for false advertizing?
