With his speed and reported lateral quickness, he may be able to play the 3 with size advantage just like Millsap did for a while.

The more I read up on the Kings blogs, the more I think that Murray just robbed them blind. Most of the fans say that he was already turning it around and that it was just r****ded Smart who did not give him a proper environment to thrive. We may have just picked up a true 5th pick. I think he'll thrive on our team.

The main reason for his drop was the arrival of mkg and Anthony Davis. T Jones had to share the spotlight. If t jones was at Kansas his numbers would of been up their with Robinson's. Jones could of went in the top ten if not the top 5 after his freshman season.
I know a lot of people think the summer lg doesnt matters but Jones showed me so much upside. In the summer lg Robinson was struggling with finishing around the basket. That's a big red flag its no surprise to see that he struggling even worst to finish in the NBA.

You think Morey was thinking about Cousins when he made the trade for Robinsion?

Yeah of course, but I am sure Kings declined Rockets offer for Cousins so we went for Thomas Robinson instead.

I know highlight videos don't tell the whole story and can make everyone look good. From what I see he is super athletic and will be a great fit only because he can explode off the pick and roll with Harden and Lin which is exactly what this team needs. You can't always rely on Asik to run the PNR.

We lose the shooting range with Patt and Morris gone but I think we got more of an interior PF at the end of it all with more upside.

None of this is going to matter till we see him actually suit up. But I am excited to see him and DMo get some time.

Millsap is probably a good comparison. Like Robinson, Millsap led the country in rebounding in college. Rebounding is the skill that most often translates to the pros. Morey was alluding to this in his press interview about Robinson.

Millsap got his early playing time as a rebounder before developing a more well rounded game.

I have been against the heard mentality that has all concluded that McHale is a horrible coach. However, I don't think this mentality is primarilya Lin only fan thing.

Frankly Van Gundy and Adelman would probably not have done as well with the group we have. McHale is more like Rudy, who was also a player's coach and not your typical X's and O's coach. It is not like the player's coaches never suceed.

Established veterans and especially All Stars don't need a lot of time to jell. Our situation is more like the Thunder than the Celts and Heat. The first couple of years the Thunder did not go to the finals or far in the playoffs till they "jelled".

Thomas Robinson? Who is this guy? The next Joey Dorsey?

I'm not Daryl Morey so I won't be deciding the Rockets roster anytime soon, but we sure lost the scoring punch that Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris brought.

On the optimistic side, I do hope to see more playing time for Terence Jones and Greg Smith.

We're weaker on bench now? Longer hour for the starters?

Has Thomas Robinson taken the physical examination? Has he passed the Rockets physical exam?

Is Terence Jones still with the D-league RGVipers or will he be called back up to the Rockets? Before they play Thomas Robinson, I would like to see Terence Jones in action.
