He may have hated Houston back then, but Simmons apparently enjoyed ASW in HOU this time around according to Zach Lowe.

Playoff team, young, exciting, smart management, a team clearly on the rise.

Naming the Rockets as the team that won at the trade deadline because of getting TRob, the ESPN commentator said: "It cost them a couple of pretty good stretch forwards, but the Rockets seem to be able to develop those out of origami paper."

 

Stopped watching ESPN a long time ago. I still tune in for games (NBA, NFL, NCAA football and basketball) but the bottom line is that there former highlight show SportCenter has become a worthless dribble of "big" market crap. Too many people always buy what ESPN is selling and it's sickening. I steer towards all other sports outlets before them

 

Chris Broussard is a moron. I seen him earlier explaining how a trade for Howard to Dallas makes no sense and right after says that Houston is in the same boat as Dallas and then tops it off by saying Howard to Brooklyn makes the most sense.

Are you saying that ESPN is a truth telling organization, or a bunch of liars like MSNBC? Either way, they are biased and rarely give the Rockets credit. They don't even try to hide it.

 

There is TV ESPN and then there is Internet ESPN. The Rockets get plenty of love from the latter.
