OKC would probably accept a bag of chips for him, since he's a RFA.

Dailythunder has some speculation about Ronnie Brewer to OKC. Which makes little sense.

Kind of surprised by this too, why not swap Millsap for Smith and slot him at the 3?

    Mo Williams
    Gordon Hayward
    J Smoove
    Favors
    Jefferson

Not a bad starting line-up, even if you throw Burks in the 2 spot instead of Hayward.

Yeah, the disappointment is what really killed me.

I'm shocked Utah didn't make a move. While Smith likely won't be back, there's still a possibility. But Jefferson and (especially Millsap) are as good as gone.

to me, the real head-scratcher is Utah! How do you not move one of Milsap or Jefferson for draft picks and prospects? Those guys are gonna walk for nothing at the end of the year. And best case scenario for Utah's playoff hopes is a 1st round exit. foolish

I think it's best that Howard, Jefferson, Smith and Millsap all stayed put. This gives the Rockets several guys to go after during the off-season.

soooo glad we didn't make any additional moves. morey got his extension, so he is looking at the longterm success of the franchise.. exactly the type of gm we want.

That says to me that Utah highly over-valued ALL of their trade prospects and demanded too much for them in compensation via trade. Thus, it seems Utah has massively downgraded their ability to improve their team moving forward as the majority of their high end trade assets will be unrestricted free agents this coming off-season. Utah had the most to gain by making trades at the deadline this year and instead chose to stand fast and miss out on improving their squad via trade as opposed to improving the team this offseason. I think Utah should get an "F" for their trade-deadline grade and their only hope now of improving is if their own free agents give them a huge home-town discount to resign and the are still somehow able to sign quality free agents in the off-season. I dont see that happening and thus I feel Utah has badly missed their window to improve their team via trade during this deadline session and have hurt their franchise long-term by their inaction by not moving obviously desirable and quality players like Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap especially. Utah just set their rebuild back by 1-2 years. Inexcusable front office errors in my opinion. which can only benefit the rest of the league by their choosing to not act before the deadline. Horrible front office decision-making in my opinion...
