    Lol. ATL is going to lose big time here.

    Sekou is saying that ATL pulled out of the deal, didn't get what they wanted...but instead will get nothing. He said there is no chance he sticks around.

    Don't see why they didn't just give him up, they are getting nothing for him now.

    While Aldridge is right that they do get the cap space from him expiring...

    They should have at least got assets back. Young players, draft picks for Smith. To get nothing for him is a failure.

    Aren't there usually trades that get announced after the deadline? The league office is probably backed up with calls and paperwork and news gets out late. I'm not expecting anything big, but I can't believe Chicago didn't budge.

    Haha, he was using Bucks for leverage and waiting on Morey's call... too bad for him Morey never called back and is content to wait till the offseason to steal Smith for nothing :grin:

    Yeah, what is up with the Bulls. They seem very gun shy at the trade deadline every year. I guess their owner will pay lux tax afterall.
