The Kings traded this guy for PPat and a bag of peanuts. What a great trade for us.

You're probably right, but in the interim, he can still dunk.

Do these guys have drive and high IQ's?

It's really an unfair comparison. I do not know whether or not we keep him, but Thomas Robinson is far from these guys. He WANTS to get better and is very coach-able. It's not like he is nonathletic and coach-able. He has all of the physical tools (and more) and the desire.

Not only that but he can rebound in traffic. I like that he plays down low like old school PF instead of being out on the 3 point line.

I don't know much about the guy's attitude, but it that is true then >> that everything I mentioned. If his desire and work ethic is truly that great than good deal, Carl Landry pretty much proved that to me when I thought he wasn't going to last in the league.

How do you guys know this btw?

I don't know what the hell most of you guys are talking about, maybe you're just overexcited about the trade.

He is an athletic power forward. Great rebounder, will do the dirty work. Can become a very good defender.

He is limited in the post. Doesn't really have much of an offensive game right now. He can shoot the mid range but it is wildly inconsistent.

Oh my, what athleticism and body coordination. I think with Lin's improved 3 point shooting, we don't need stretch 4's as much now... and Asik doesn't have to go 1 vs 3 in the paint... Boy, Rockets now have a legit starting 5!!

After I read the story about his grandmother, grandfather and mother all dying (not at the same time) in about a span on of a month from each other (not sure if that's the exact timeline) I kept an eye on him hoping for success. He has always impressed with his attitude and he always seemed positive about moving forward. He then went to a crappy organization (management-wise -- their fans are the best) and there he was not managed well at all. In my opinion, he has been put into a really bad situation and is waiting to be COACHED. He actually enjoys it.

I briefed through this a little (did not read but about 10% of it) but found it so you may get a feel for who this kid is.

Excited for him to match up physically and athletically against bigger teams and be a strong finisher playing off Asik. He looks like he is a high motor kind of player which will fit with our team.

With as often as he gets his shots blocked (which is why his FG % is lower) McHale should REALLY be able to help him with that.

TRob is different than them because he

    A) Gives a ****.

    B) Has good hands/is coordinated

    C) Has an NBA body/good size.

    D) Is coachable.

I for one, am a fan.
