That's true. I may be putting too much faith into what's happened with the Kings.

I would really like for Robinson to do well for the Rockets. I think it would be great. He seems like a good guy with a good attitude.

Part of my dislike of this trade is that the Rockets also had some good guys with good attitudes that we traded, and I'd grown fond of as players. It also wasn't a guess what they could become. We had a pretty good idea.

With Harden, Parsons, and Delfino, there won't be many minutes for him unless we play small-ball a lot. In which case, there won't be many minutes for Robinson and Motiejunas either.

We don't know anything until we hear from the major writers, like Woj.

What do you mean they're LOYAL guys? That's such a bull**** "compliment" to give to 2nd and 3rd year young guys.

Hill doesn't have half the motor that Robinson does. I'm pretty excited about TR's potential.

The kings are a stupid, clueless franchise that can't get out of their own way. This was about saving greedy ownership money. Their poor judgement is our game.

GTFO with this non sense. He lost his folks man.
Oh and TMZ lives off that lifeblood, and asked the stupid question. BTW that house is more expensive than that watch he prob. bought by ya know oh maybe 700 plus thousand. So maybe Thomas Robinson is being smart with his money! :)

He's only 21 and has very little experience and high upside.
If he's already "really not that much better than Patterson," in your words, then I'm at a loss here. Are you lamenting giving up Douglas or was it Cole Aldrich:confused:

    From the Kings forum

Some of them are saying Stern should overturn the trade b/c the current owners are selling off the team for personal gain ($1M)

That might make sense but this is the Kings so its good, no worries. The players we traded away are a dime a dozen. We got Parsons with a 2nd round pick. Another day at the office for Murray.

No, it isn't. They've worked hard, gone to the D-League, and developed their game. They've made the adjustments the team has asked of them, and many players in the league aren't comfortable doing that.

If that doesn't matter to you, then fine. That's your deal. But don't tell me, my appreciation of the players who've done that is BS. You're welcome to feel differently than I do about it, but you have no idea what you're talking about telling me that my reasoning is BS.

Sacramento is such a mal-run (is that correct?!) organization.

I think a VERY simple example is to watch how Hayes is used or how Landy was used -- who then moved to be very productive with CP3.

I think Thomas Robinson is a high potential athlete who has a high IQ (sometimes a hot head) but WANTS to improve and WANTS to succeed. He has gone through a lot in his life and has value in what he does. He is not a Terrence Williams or Swift.

This move was excellent and even if we do not keep TRob, it was a STEAL. We saved money, got a more desired asset in TRob, and opened up space for DMO/TJones if TRob doesn't pan out. Frankly, all three have potential and 2/3 have potential to be All-Stars.

I agree. If they are simply going to flip him for a guy that they can get anyways in free agency like Paul Milsap or Josh Smith, I think thats a mistake. Thomas Robinson was the #5 pick in a deep draft for a reason. I think its worth their while to see what this roster can do in the next 30 games, and in the Summer reevaluate what they want to do.

Also, if someone told you last Summer that the Rockets were going to be able to flip 2Pat and Morris into the 5th pick in the draft, Clutchfans would have crashed from all the giddy posters excited with the trade.

Trade hurts the team slightly now in the short, but adds a player that has the potential to be great.... oh and you got that player for nothing, and STILL have the ability to go after a max free agent this summer.

They will trade for Rip (the reason for the Morris trade), keep Robinson through this summer and build up his trade value, build up DMo's trade value and see who's biting next trade deadline with more cap space and more assets to position themselves as very attractive for the 2014 FA frenzy.

I can't help but think part of this trade was the Kings trying to get Cousins matched up with his old college teammate in PPat. Seems like Robinson could have demanded a lot more in another trade scenario. The Kings might have just liked the deal....

Yep. You don't trade the #5 pick for a non-allstar on an expiring deal, when you can sign him for nothing in the offseason.
