All Morris and Patterson were is potential. But we've seen Patt's ceiling...and Morris is worth exactly what you got in return for him...a 2nd rounder.

Thomas' ceiling is much higher. This is a team building for the future. Young nucleus. Acquiring higher ceiling guys while freeing up cash is what it's all about right now. And this is a good move.

For saying a season is not important just means your a bull**** fan. I couldnt even imagine not cheering for the Rockets to make the playoffs.

T-Rob's the Power Forward Houston deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll send him to the D-League. Because he can take it. Because he's not our PF.

I agree this is trading piece for a star.

T-Rob is good. His stats only seem mediocre because he was on the Kings, they ruin all their players and Keith Smart is a moron.

Yeah, I don't salivate over all Morey's deals and I've been someone who has scoffed at the In Morey We Trust cult.

But this is a good trade...TRob is a high ceiling guy with a great contract. Great move.

Is it safe to say that TRob is the cheaper version of Jsmooth?

Give TRob the minutes and watch him improve every game. Yes he's a rookie, but this kid is ready to play right now.

Btw: not that this is saying much, but the Kings recently have been taking Cousins out and having TRob defend other team's centers and larger bigs.

Say we get Josh Smith for..TRob and Asik. Smith's contract is up but we have his bird rights. Dwight says i want to join you in Htizzle. How do we sign both of them? Possible?

And we add Morris salary to the Suns reducing his cap space.
Tomorrow a lot of team will call Morey

    We didn't trade Asik

We give up a little in the short-run and get better long-run.

Mind is going 100 different ways.

PPat and MMo not the best rebounders.

    MMo was a terrible defender

Thinking - develop Trob into pick and roll guy - lob at the rim guy, rebounder and defense

Garcia is a good defender, not a bad three-shooter, fiery. Good team chemistry/locker room guy- kinda like Sefolosha.

I agree that something bigger my be going on, but c'mon. Who wouldn't jump at getting a top 5 pick for what we gave up. Its not like the kings are the greatest at evaluating and developing talent haha.

Either way the bigger picture is this summer.

Morey: "Playaaaaah (haytahhhh)....turn yo head 'round.....lay on the ground....you've been robbed." (c) Biggie

He straight gaffled the Kings...AND the Suns.

    Ohhhhhhhhh.....how I LOVE IT, mayne!

    Extension well deserved.

I feel T-Rob is a low basketball IQ kind of guy, sometimes clueless.

He the least offensively capable among all the PF's in our line up right now.

I feel like D-Mo is going to get his shot.

Among those PFs left he's got the most "professional" experience being a Euro vet.
