Making the playoffs this year is not important. Its about building for the future. I'm not sold on Robinson either but Patterson and Morris were both definitely not the answer. The best part of the deal is that it frees up ptmfor d mo and t Jones.

    You are right.

Patterson and Morris were just leaking with experience.

We actually got more experience in Garcia. He's going to help out this year, another shooter you can't leave open.

In general, if you are incapable of composing a coherent sentence, you shouldn't be calling other people ****ing stupid. But, it is good to know that the "lack of experience we had is now completely gone."

I wasn't sure about the trade, but if someone like you hates it, I am much more enthusiastic.

Pairing Robinson with Asik would give us some pretty dominant rebounding if Robinson develops.

Otis Thorpe 2.0 from the Kings (again). Love it.

Tell that to the owner! Playoffs are still important for free agents

This was a salary dump for the kings, they didn't want to pay garcia's contract next season and Robinson was the guy they needed to make it happen. Not a lot of people in the league think he can cut it.

In addition, Morey traded a #13 pick for a 2nd rounder. Expecting a trade tomorrow or you can write this as another regressive, lateral move.

Maybe, maybe not. But we'll never see it. If he gets better, we'll trade him immediately. In the meantime, we've avoided the playoffs for another year, because we don't have anybody remotely ready to play power forward.

Loved T-Rob in college dude is like a young version of paul milsap. And he does have a post game, If you people actually took the time to watch some NBA games T-Rob can go left, has a back to the basket game, and has a solid face up drive.

And for once we have a PF that takes it to the rim every-time looking to DUNK, for our fast pace style of play he fits in perfectly.

You must be out of your mind. We are going young, which is exactly how OKC got started, and look at them. Trob plays above the rim, PPat didn't. Marcus was very inconsistent, PPat was a very good shooter, but hurt is in rebounding and defense. We don't need Trob to score, but I know for a fact he will score very easily with the way the team plays. The guy is fast and runs the floor way better than Patrick or Morris did. Garcia can do the exact same thing Morris did. Plus we get to play TJones and Dmo and see what they have to offer. This was a solid trade were we did not get worse and freed up some money for the offseason.

I seriously doubt Robinson starts, much less plays for the Rockets at all this season, expecting him to get moved to RGV.

They didn't have to pay his contract next season. Just like we won't. Garcia and Honeycut have TEAM options.

TRob gives us the physical inside presence we need. A true power forward. He'll end up being a guy who can defend bigs while being an outstanding rebounder and low post presence. Get him in the gym with dream to work on his offense and the sky is the limit. Lunch pail mentality, hard worker. Only 21! I'm amazed sac town dealt him. We got very lucky.

Between Dmo, TRob, and Jones we have some of the youngest and most exciting PF talent in the league. It's a great day!

Garcia's contract is a team option.
