[Woj] Terrence Jones being shopped for a first round pick

OF COURSE Morey would put the most athletic player on the block

 

Yeah but he's like the 5th best PF on the roster behind Patterson, Morris, Motiejunas, and Smith....not a real loss.

 

I suggested this in one of these threads...

Chicago probably isn't high on trading the bobcats pick, or mirotic. And they don't want to take back salary, so they don't want Jones. Morey is wanting one of the two but Chicago won't budge. Morey thus puts Jones on the block for a1st. And than ship it to Chicago as extra benefit and possibly enough to snag either that pick or mirotic, whichever Morey covets more (i believe the pick).

Thus i predict a three teamer in which Houston receives rips contract and the bobcats pick.Chicago receives cap space and a future first from (said 3rd team). Said 3rd team receives Jones.

Seems like a good return for every team involved...

 

Have you ever seen Patterson's or Morris's post game? Jones can finish around the basket, Patterson and morris cant .

 

Have you ever seen Jones try to shoot? Pretty terrible. His athleticism is pretty much all he has going for him.

 

You can't teach athleticism. His athleticism would make him an instant upgrade on defense and on the boards. I'm starting to get pissed off. Where one of the most up tempo teams in the NBA but we don't play the one big man who can finish on the break. T Jones could get10 points a game off transition and put backs.

His athleticism is all he has.can't shoot and NO his defense isn't good....

Out of all the pfs on this squad why do you think Morey wants too trade him over alkyl the other ones?

Its hard to look good when he only has played a few minutes all season. Not every player handles playing in the d lg well. Being in the d lg can't be good for his confidence. Morey and McHale are going to ruin this kid. Who's confidence wouldn't be shaken up when you can't even beat out morris.
T Jones was unreal in the summer lg and he looked real good in the preseason. After his off season performance it makes zero sense that he would of not get playing time to start off the season. What more can the kid do he balls in summer lg balls in preseason then gets no playing time.
