mediocre player. but never complained publicly about being in the d-league (or anything); seemed to work hard. Therefore, I wish him the best.
dang it...this doesn't bode well for my sleep tonight...hopefully the trade will break sooner then later...
No. Considering that we passed on Kawhi, Shumpert, and Faried I'd say it would be a chalked up as a bad pick if we don't get much out of it. But meh, you are right. It was a mid-round lotto pick and we took a chance on a guy that we thought could pan out. Ah well. Those other guys were more NBA ready and we took a shot at a guy we thought had more potential.
D-MO is a good enough shooter to keep his defender honest. Meaning that if his defender sags off of him, he's good enough to make him pay. Not to mention he has an assortment of other skills that make him a bigger offensive threat then Morris.
That's perfectly fine. As long as it opens up minutes for DMo and TJones. Garbage player w/ an expiring contract and/or pick (even a 2nd rounder) - would be perfectly acceptable. Impressive how quiet all this has been. No one has any clue on what the two possible deals on the table are.
"While Morey is shopping Jones for a first rounder being that he barely played, he's sub-consciously increasing the value of Patterson & Morris. Genius..." ~ TripleSeven http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=234060&page=3 Yep...
