I think the morons who defend the moron and compare him to Lebron are more moronic than the moron himself.

Our strategy is to trade a young player for draft pick and/or a vet on a expiring/min contract.

Or the goal is to trade a young player for a draft pick and open up space to trade for a vet straight up (Rip Hamilton).

Similar to the Camby/Fisher deals, except instead of Jordan Hill/Flynn/Thabeet...we are looking to trade Jones.

I keep waiting to read the Davids bemoaning that we could possibly trade TJones and all his massive potential for another future first round pick. After all he's the guy that has shown the most potential and is the most NBA ready?

Don't you guys see what is happening here? We've been storing DMo until after the All-Star break. Just like PPat and Carl Landry before him. After the break, we unleash the guys we really like the best and want to keep for the forseeable future. Before that, we showcase guys that we would like to trade (PPat/Morris/TJones in that order).

This is bad bad bad!!. T-Jones and D-Mo are the guys you want to keep around. Get the picks for P-Pat, Royce, Morris, and Douglas.

Move Greg Smith over to bup center and spot PF minutes.

T-Jones is the diamond of the PF glut. The guy is legit. He's farther along than D-Mo in my opinion.

P-Pat, Morris, Douglas, all have value. Not so sure about Royce.

This reeks of Spurs trading Scola to us.

Please Mr. Morey don't let this guy go.

He's going to be better than J Smith, Milsap and all the other "win" now guys that are out there.

First of all, no. Secondly, he'll never get a chance to play for the Rockets anyway, he's buried in the depth chart because he's not as good as any of those ahead of him.

Based on history, it's safe to say TJ is not going anywhere.

Everyone knows that if bigs aren't dominant in their first year, they never pan out!

Interesting. Looks like the Rockets have a lot of faith in PPat, Morris, and D-Mo.

If we realy get a Pick for Jones i hope Daryl is trading the pick afterwards because we cant do anything with picks. Our HC doesnt like Rookies. As long as McHale is our Coach we can trade away all of our picks.

Not neccesarily. It just means that we view this as a way to maintain his value(because he is certainly not going to gain value as he gets older), and still stay competitive while we wait on the summer for our powerfoward of the future. we are keeping the rest because they can help us right now and mchale/morey do not thing jones does. He might be something but not with us. He is just to far back on the depth chart. He is just a rotting talent on our team.

I remember the Kings being interested in him during the draft. I think it would be great if we could trade him for rarely used Jimmer Fredette. Our system really fits him.

You make a good point but I think we really need defense. he fits our system in the fact that he is another three point shooter but how many of those do we really need?

They liked Parsons when he was a rookie. Parsons started over veteran players as a rookie.

Thats one out of four. I dont count Royce because even Rudy T. would let him play in the D-League.
