Haven't college ball at all this year, but he's a late bloomer and just off the top of my head I can't name any late bloomers that became players in the NBA, though I assume there must be at least some. Is he Aaron Gray with Mutombo-esque shotblocking ability? Is he the white version of Ekpe Udoh? Or just another Jarvis Varnando or Stephane Lasme? Sheldon Williams put up impressive numbers in college, too. (Much) more impressive numbers, in fact.

Seem him he is a real good defenser and shotblocker and can rebound as well. His offense is coming along now since last year were he blew up at Kansas and the guy will have a decent offense game when it's all said and done... He will be at worst a really good backup which the Rockets need... Pai him with Asik at the center position and the Rockets are set and then trade for LaMarcus Aldridge and sign a SOLID Pg and the Rockets cna have something brewing...Whitey is a prettty good athletic and quick center and will be at the NBA for a long time easily a better prospect than Aldrich who at best is a average backup center...
