While that's clearly high, it also seems like you haven't given Redick quite enough credit. He's on his 4th year in a row as a 39% or higher 3 point shooter. On top of that, with increased PT and role, he's up to 15 points a game and 4.5 apg. He has a solid 16.5 PER. He doesn't turn the ball over a ton and while not a great defender is average in that regard.

If everything else on the Rockets was settled, dude would be an EXCELLENT 22 - 25 mpg backup 2 guard on an MLE contract.

I think the MLE is a perfect deal for him, but certainly it makes sense for his agent to push way above that, and even for Redick to prefer to sign the MLE somewhere outside of Orlando.

    He's a below average defender.

cmon man, that's ridiculous. The guy was a lock down defender last year. He's average at best this year because of the knee injury, but I belivee he will be back to top shape again next season. gotta buy low.

Redick on grizz would be awesome. He'd be exactly what they need.

The rumored offer from Milwaukee of Mbah a Moute plus a first rounder seems like the best (and most sensible) package offered for Reddick. If that's still on the table, I think Orlando should take it.

Now, if Memphis offers Ed Davis (as another poster suggested), that may be another story. But I think Memphis likes Davis long-term. At least management does.

Why would Milwaukee do that? Reddick, Ellis, AND Jennings?

Apparently they don't like Moute's contract:
