What am i saying, we're doing them a favor by absorbing Rip's contract so we should in return get Mirotic's draft rights or that future Bobcats pick for Cole Aldrich, not T. Jones.

Hamilton won't be viewed as an asset since the Bulls have to get rid of his contract and we're one of the few teams that is capable of helping them achieve that.

This is exactly the kind of deal that Morey is looking for and i would guess that they are negotiating which pick they would send our way.

This is nonsense, the bobcats aren't giving away their first rounder. Were giving away Terrence for chopped Liver that's been dragged and flipped over twice... can he at least see the floor before we go shopping him? Get rid of Ppat or Morris, its the same O same O with those two!

    I'd send them Morris.

Despite popular believe, I think we would be interested in a 2013 1st rd pick.

The 2013 Draft is full of interesting center prospects. Rockets could be looking for a long-term back up center (I don't think Smith is going to cut it), and this years draft has a good amount to choose from.

The Bobcats owe the Bulls a future 1st round pick as previously posted.

I agree, i'd rather send them Aldrich or Morris. But since the purpose is to lessen our PF's, i'd give them Marcus Morris. I like T.Jones. Jones' name is only being mentioned because of that woj report that came out earlier.

if i may ask why do you want rip so bad? he does the same thing as Delfino, shoot 3s and slack on D... we already have a rip if not a few on this 3 pointer shooting team. We need toughness and Defense!

When did i say that i want Hamilton? I already posted that this isn't about Hamilton. I want a future 1st round pick or Mirotic's draft rights.

Again, let me reiterate, this is NOT about us acquiring Hamilton. The main point of doing this deal is to acquire a future 1st round pick.

Larry Cook, these are my posts in this thread. Which among these posts even indicate that it's Rip Hamilton i really want?

I want a good bigman. They're probably not gonna trade Joakim Noah so what's the point?

Unless they do something like Harden for Rose, I don't think anything will happen.

And yes, I prefer Rose over Harden..the most atheletic and explosive point guard the league has ever seen.

I disagree. As much as i love D Rose's game, he just suffered and is recovering from major ACL injury/surgery. His game relies mainly on athleticism, explosiveness, and shiftiness with a ton of laterals when attacking the basket. It's fair to say that there's always that risk and assumptions that he would never be the same after this.

Without the injury & surgery, you bring up a compelling case. But given the circumstances, i'd take Harden in a heartbeat.

Draft rights to Mirotic wouldn't make sense. It would count towards our capspace in the summer because of the cap hold of a overseas stash.

Would just take a first rounder flat.

Delfino is not 2. TD is 2. I just don't understand why McHale want TD to be 1.

We are not getting that bobcats 1st rounder.

The pick I would ask for is the 2013 Bulls 1st rounder.

This is most definitely not about taj Gibson. He's a mediocre player with a ridiculous contract. He's the definition of what would never allow the rockets to win big.

I personally like taj as a player, but not with his hefty price tag.
