With recent rumors swirling around the minnesota powerforward Derrick Williams you have to wonder if Morey is listening. I know morey has said we will keep our assets and we may do so. but williams is still on a rookie scale contract and could be the answer to our power foward woes. He is only twenty one and has an insanely high seeling due to his combination of size and skill. Morey has also said that he is always on the lookout to improve the squad, I assure yall this would.
while i think he has more upside than say, Pat or Morris, he's not worthy of the #1 pick rookie scale contract he's getting. At the end of the day, he's another 3/4 tweener. He'll make $5 and $6 mil the next two years, so he's hardly a value player at this point.
No. Rockets need to keep their options open for Dwight despite how small of a chance they have at getting him. Even with the salary as it is right now, Rockets need to get rid of Patterson to be able to sign Dwight.
Isn't this topic better suited for the trades thread. Why did the OP think it needed special treatment? Think before you post please.
Meh. If Morey wants him I'd be fine with it, but he def wouldn't be my first choice... or my second... or my fifth.
Patterson is the soft, less athletic, far less aggressive version of Derrick Williams that's lucky enough to get a boost by playing alongside Harden.
