As if Dwight being drafted by LA, he wouldn't be a champ right? Kobe whined and cried his way out of playing for the Hornets and threatened he only wanted to play for LA in the NBA. Got his own team after running Shaq out and then whined and cried and demanded a trade when he couldn't handle it bc he was spoiled with 3 chips thanks to Shaq.

I'm glad Dwight doesn't want to be Kobes lil b**** like Pau.

Steve Nash doesn't like him? Bc of some stupid article from a nobody with a video which showed nothing?

Whatever. Dwight will have awesome chemistry with our young team. **** LA! I know if he comes here, he will have so much to prove and just come to play and have fun doing it. No more dancing around like fool like Bron in Cleveland. Fun through playing and winning.

This is one of those things that once he comes here and we start winning, everyone will deny they hated him and didn't want him and preferred Omer Asik over him. lol ...Just make it happen Morey.

Sign Dwight this offseason, Give LA a pick we can acquire this deadline for his bird rights so he can get that extra 30 mil b/c LA will have no choice but to get something in return just like Bosh and LBJ being sign and traded for a **** pick. Were set. To make it even better for Dwight, bring his bff Josh Smith through sign and trade with Omer Asik and Patterson+whatever else. But, not necessary.

I'm sure there are those who truly don't want Dwight to come here, and I often like to think of myself as one of those people. But in my heart of hearts, I really would like to see him get his head on straight and do well in Rockets red. From Moses to Hakeem to Yao, our rich Center history would only be augmented by the addition of a healthy, focused Dwight Howard. I believe that it COULD work. The sheer athleticism that he possesses leads to the desire to have him on this team in place of Asik (not to mention his ability to catch the ball in the post). If he would be willing to come here, truly put in the work, and help this team further itself in their bid to be a championship team, I would welcome him with open arms.

Attitude is only part of it. What really worries me is his heath or the possibility of him showing up to training camp next Fall looking noticeably less muscular.

I don't believe in Howard. I don't think has any skills. Period. I don't think he'll prove me wrong, but tbh I don't give a crap about him. Frankly...He's just not remotely important in my mind.

....Or in Kobe's mind for that matter

I remember everyone hating on Lebron. Dwight did take a team to the finals. I think if he is healthy he is a top 5 player. If you can get him you do everything you can do to get him.

People hated on Lebron for two main reasons.

    1. The Miami Heat cartel. No one outside of South Florida and those guys wanted to see a team have 3 in their prime stars, dominating he league and agreeing to team up together.

    2. He was notoriously disappearing in the playoffs. King james title, with no actual title up until last year.

No one can argue he isn't easily the best player in the world right now, maybe second best to Durant. depends on how you look at it. This Dwight thing is different. Its Randy Moss wasting his prime years, half assing, and playing when he wants to. Moss had all the tools to break Rice's records, and win titles. Same thing with Dwight.

Regarding people skills, see: Jordan, Michael. One of the biggest dicks on the planet and punched two teammates in the face and was ulta-competitive...yet he won 6 titles and is considered the greatest player of all time. Like I said, Kobe has the hardware to back it up, kind of like Mike did.

Kobe never demanded a trade. (well, he may have then immediately backtracked I believe) He expressed agitation with the direction of LA. He never had his coach fired...only to demand a trade after having that happen.

Being Kobe's b**** got Pau two rings. Two more than Dwight has.

Apples to oranges. Kobe was option 1a on three of them and option 1 on two of them.

Big Shot was a role player who had a big part in the two Houston championships but was more of a role player who hit some HUGE shots on the Spurs/Lakers.

Sorry, that isn't a proper comparison.

And he would have 0 of those if he was on the Golden State Warriors his whole career. The "rings" conversation is irrelevant to put it nicely.

    Nice try.

In two of the three, he averaged 29.4 ppg/ 7.6 rpg /6.1 apg and 26.6 ppg/ 5.8 rpg and 4.6 apg in the playoffs. Yeah, what a b****.

Shaq was the most dominant center in the game at that time, but he wouldn't have won those without Kobe (and Phil!)

No, I was referring to your "rings" comment. Especially when pertaining to superstars
