Commodore, I'm not usually a stickler for this, but I think Jason would greatly appreciate it if we didn't embed the video onto the BBS threads. (Not in indictment of you. Just an observation.) Jason and Craig put out a great product with Rocketscast Live, and Jason is effusive in his praise for ClutchFans. He's been a very good friend to this site, so I think we owe it to him to simply provide a link to his website so that he can get his page views. Those too lazy to click onto one link to get to the video, get over yourselves!
Hasn't Lowe already been on recently? Youtube videos records those views/hits even when they're embedded.
Yeah Zach Lowe, one of the few that seems to know what he's talking about. Maybe Friedman or the handlers shouldnt put the video on youtube with the embedding even enabled if they dont want it posted like that. Should maybe disable the embed, pimp his own site or links putting them somewhere on the youtube profile, or IN the video itself as an annotation (though links can change). Do agree it is good to give the CF VIP guys the extra boost. Just saying they should consider doing extra things too for themselves, don't count on people to do the right thing that much lol (& Its almost making GooglePlus Hangouts look good here, along with their own interest)
Oops, didn't realize about the YouTube issue. My bad. Still, it would be nice to give rockets.com the clicks for something like this. If nothing else, it will indirectly subsidize Jason Friedman's hair care product habit.
I asked Jason on twitter and he said it was not intentional at all. Brent Barry is pretty good for TV work. Intelligent, well spoken, and not obnoxious-- the last part is a significant achievement considering the family he grew up in.
