Kobe has been in a very fortunate place in Los Angeles though.

We saw what he was all about when he didn't have a dominant big man, and has hasn't spent enough of his career there to get a good enough read on what he really is without the inside protection of a dominant big man and most Phil Jackson (lack of success without him is telling in a short sample.

That said, I don't care how either of them are acting, but lets not pretend that this failure of a season is all Dwight's fault. There is plenty of blame to go around, and especially for the so called leader.

Howard single handedly carried a team who's second best player was Hedo Turkoglu to the finals.

I think he can help the Rockets get there with Harden.

I believe that's what's commonly referred to as "being professional." Dwight should give it a try sometime.

I don't believe this story, by the way...

LOL I don't know why people hate on LBJ for going to Miami, it's not like he had an easy time, look at his stats, people are saying he's on a historic run simply because he's doing so much for the team.

Do people hate on Kobe, his 5 rings were won with the best coach in history and with 2 HOF big men. MJ won his 6 rings with HOF Pippen as his sidekick. Do people hate on Durant for having WB, Ibaka and Harden (previously)? LOL the only difference is LBJ made it happen, those other guys let the GM make it happen. Hell, DH went to play for the Lakers who already had Gasol, Kobe and Nash.

That was a healthy DH though, not one with spine and shoulder problems. Also that DH was fully into SVG's coaching, not this diva.

Who's implying that the failure this season is all because of Howard?

And people still want Dwight in a Rocket's uniform? Did the T Slack years teach us nothing? Talent (and need) is only part of the equation.

Im not implying that's what you are saying, but there is a general sentiment going around because Dwight is such a big baby that the focus seems to be changing over to him solely and off of what the real problem is.

It's funny how fast the narrative has changed for LA: D'Antoni won't adapt to the personnel or push defense. The team is old and slow. Kobe jacks it up too much. Now it's Dwight won't play along.

Anyways I can't imagine Dwight staying at this rate. There's just no way. His emotions lead him to that Orlando debacle. They will certainly steer him out of LA.

Funny enough that Kobe and Dwight saw this coming before DH was actually traded to LA.

Dwight will never be the best in the world and doesn't have the talent to back him up. Dwight is d.motumbo and not even as good. Talk about a childlike mentality and injury problems. In the early 90's dwight would be the 6th best center let alone the league.

I love all the talk about Dwight not being professional and what a baby he has been the last couple of years. Let me remind you that Hakeem (who is my favorite player ever) used to punch people like a amateur heavyweight. He was almost traded for Charles Barkley in late 92 because he couldn't stop whining. That off season is when he worked on his game and perfected the dream shake. He did it because he wanted to be more marketable not because he loved the Houston fanatics. Don't forget, Dwight is 27....how mature were you at that age? My only concern is his back. The immature stuff, meh! Now, if he has a uterus like T-Mac, that remains to be seen but if he tough like Kobe. I hate Kobe but damn that guy is tough.

True. But no one has said anything about him complaining so far. Lately the gripe has been regarding him being non-commital to either staying with the Lakers or bouncing for free agency. And supposedly not playing through injury when he could.

I believe it, Shaq even went as far as dissing Kobe and asking and I quote "how my ass taste?".... that's pretty childish and unprofessional on Shaq's part but no one will ever call him immature because he had 3 rings already.

I'm just saying everyone ragging on Dwight needs to consider all angles and stories involved.
