We all know the crowd was predominately black, but if you have seen the pictures it is pretty obvious it needed to be shut down. It was AT LEAST 3 times more full than any time I have been to the galleria.

Well I know their isn't much he can do as far as moving, but he isn't exactly being cooperative. Sure he is single out but you can't attack everyone. Personally, if a cop shoved me and told me to move back I sure as hell don't stand in the same place and question him.

Without looking at the pictures or reading anything about the event, I might have voted yes out of ignorance

But the pictures show massive overcrowding, creating obvious safety issues.

Rocketman has me convinced. No pyrotechnics and more than 4 exits. I can't imagine how there could be a safety issue of overcrowding now.

I doubt they closed the Galleria because of a tragedy at a tiny club in Rhode Island a decade ago.

Black friday was no where close to as crazy as this past weekend. when you have lebron, KD, and other celebs in a mall, and twitter going off, there's the problem

People are looking for racism when there is no proof of any. There are many, many examples of obvious racism to be upset about.

If the Galleria had reached capacity, you shut it down. You have to, no questions. Had a fire started or another disaster happened the Galleria would be liable to an unbelievable extent and people would want to know why the Galleria didn't shut down.

Had an accident occurred and the Galleria not shut down some people would claim the Galleria was callous and did not care for the safety of their customers and, based on posting history BEAT LA would claim racism by the Galleria not protecting African Americans.

It's called fire hazards. People can be burned and trampled regardless of skin color.
