I don't want Howard anymore, a good number of folks don't. But the injuries thing? Those weren't fluke things - Nash and Pau went down with age related, wear and tear injuries. The kind that happen to older players whose bodies are no longer up for the grueling 82+ game schedule in this league. The kind that turn All Stars into Has Beens. Howard is going to be surrounded by a declining cast for the next 2-3 years unless they find away to purge the entire roster.

I think Los Angeles is a fine choice for him. It's one of the two super power cities in this hemisphere. But don't kid yourself into thinking that the roster itself is his best option.

I'm loving this year watching the Rockets do better than expected and just as much fun watching the Lakers lose, fight and make excuses.
