Houston can forget it. Also Howard aint moving to HOU, considering HOU was the worst NBA All star host city in recent memory. Weak crowd. Piss poor artist performances. It was a bland bland weekend. Nothing exciting. Nothing memorable.

So Houston was responsible for how those artists performed, the events that took place and not the NBA?

Get the **** out of here stupid, Laker fan.

As a Rockets fan, I really hope and wish that Dwight Howard stays a Laker for life.

Huh? Everything I have read and heard said that Houston was a very good host city. The NBA will be back.

Sorry LAKER FAN but you **** the bed and may lose Howard.

Do not want Howard, but you're crazy if you think the 'weak crowd' and 'piss poor artist performances' have anything to do with what an athlete thinks of a city. It's all about the clubs/strip clubs/groupie hoes. And I've heard Houston is pretty solid in that area.

Houston has things going as well as it could go for them, no injuries, weak schedule and yet they're only 3 games up on the Lakers who have been debilitated by major injuries to their core players. HOU is barely ahead of the Lakers why in the hell would he go to HOU when they're barely more competitive than the Lakers lol makes no sense. They look fun sure but is that worth giving up $30 mil and a chance of establishing greatness in a franchise that has a great track record of it

IMO the Lakers saying they won't trade Howard just means that they aren't getting anything for him when he walks in FA. There's almost no chance that he throws away the rest of his prime playing for terrible Lakers teams.

The Rockets are the youngest, least experienced team in the NBA. The fact that they are ahead of the Lakers just shows how terrible this Lakers team is and how bright the Rockets' future is. His options are to take slightly more money and stay with a Lakers team about to start a rebuild with no chance of contending, or to go to a team that will contend every year. It's pretty obvious which is the better choice.

I agree the performances sucked. But that was probably because none of the performers were from Houston. They should have had Beyonce and Bun B up there.

And Dwight wouldn't make the Rockets significantly better? Not to mention we are the YOUNGEST team in the league with room for one more max player. The Lakers, on the other hand, are in salary cap hell for the next two seasons, and have made Dwight nothing but miserable. You state the Rockets being 3 games ahead of the Lakers as if it's embarrassing to the ROCKETS.....how in the bloody **** does that any sense?? It's the LAKERS who should be embarrassed imbecile. THEY'RE the ones with EVERYTHING to lose, and have done nothing but **** the bed. On what planet have the Rockets had a weak schedule?? We play the same damn teams every other team does. Establishing greatness?? He's already great, brain. He's trying to win without getting dissected every time he takes a crap. You're a ****ing troll, and a bad one at that.

Yes this team is only 3 games ahead of the Lakers. You're comparing the youngest team in the NBA to a team with Kobe, Nash, Pau, and Howard? LOL. Even if one goes down that team SHOULD be top 5 in the west at least. Get educated.

So the first reason you stated for Howard not coming here is because of how the All-Star weekend, in YOUR mind, went and now it's because the team isn't competitive? Are you just another talking head that wants to repackage the same and tired arguments all the journalists/writers have spat out? Sorry to break it to you but other than New York and MAYBE Miami, no other city can compare to LA's storied franchise, endorsement opportunities, weather, etc.

If you're a Laker fan as others have stated, I would be more worried about how your franchise will survive after Kobe retires and your team actually KEEPS Howard.
