That's a load of crap, and only proves you haven't watched a lot of games this season considering the fact that Harden has been ridiculously clutch in many games this season.
Kobe used to be a good to great defender....he still knows how, but rarely does. Check the man D he was playing on L James in the ASG. Harden is the same way...he *can* play good D, but most of the time doesnt. We saw that vs Miami when he was on James also. HE didnt shut him down, but he did play damn good D for that short period of time.
Because his/our team's efficiency/to rate gets worse with higher usage of Harden, whereas with Lin, our team's/Harden's efficiency/to rate goes up with our players playing their natural positions. We've seen this movie several times already, havent' we? Are we gonna forget again, go Harden-iso at the first hint of trouble and have everyone break the to record cuz they're not pgs? No question Harden is the man, but he is still not a pg.
Great point, I said this last night when someone was trying to say Kyrie would burn him if Harden had to guard him.
Harden has maintained a higher usage rate than Lin during all of our wins and losses. I would bet Lin has rarely, if ever, had a higher usage rate than Harden in a game they played together this entire season. And isn't Lin iso essentially what you're asking for? Because right they're moving the ball around to everybody and you aren't happy about it. Like I showed man, the highest usage rate is always a superstar unless the team doesn't have one. It's not about being the point guard. Usage rate isn't how long someone has the ball, that's not what the stat is measuring. Usage rate factors in stats like FGA, FTA. Why would Lin ever have a higher usage rate than Harden?
When your whole team doesn't know how to play defense that's an indictment of your poor coaching. When you have Carlos ****ING Delfino guarding Durant in the 4th you're an idiot. When you play four guard line-ups that have stunk ass you're an idiot. When you refuse to play D-Mo and Jones when your shorthanded and your players are stinking it up you're an idiot.
