im guessing he was simply embracing the crowd, although he was the only one to do it other than harden.... i dont believe its him tipping his hand or anything.. perhaps when free agency comes around, maybe houston could be on his short list.. what if kd did it... this place would have an orgasm..

If Durant did it it would likely just be him doing the UT hand sign so it wouldn't be as big a deal.

if KD did it i would figure he was just repping UT since he went there and he's in Texas.

With Howard its a bit different, he was just praising Houston and the team during one of his All Star weekend interviews, he is a pending free agent and Morey has been after Howard for quite some time. Harden also admitted in a radio interview that he has without a doubt been doing some recruiting this weekend but didnt mention any names

well because its the exact same hand gesture. but we like to use things like context clues.. anyone whos involved in urban houston can tell you that is "The H" hand gesture for houston..

If we have max cap in 2016. KD will 100% sign here (except maybe LA). Watching this all star game, I mean Harden and KD were chatting none stop. Westbrook seems like the odd man out in their brotherhood.

His stats at about 70% percent are a good amount better that Asik at 100%. Yep his attitude has sucked bad as of late, but he played many years happy and dominant. He wanted out and handled it wrong. He got traded to the Lakers and he's not too fond of the system and Kobe. Its not like he signed a FA deal with LA and now he is pulling this. Lebron pulled a "B" move the way he left Cleveland, but now most have seem to forgiven him. If he can get healthy, and decides to pass up a lot of money, and signs with us we should feel very lucky. Having 2 Superstars one inside and one on the perimeter is a recipe for a championship. Of course his back and shoulder need to check out, but if they do you have to get him if you can. That will leave us with many assets and a big one in Asik left to make a trade to upgrade the 4 if we need to. Thats where a sign and trade for Smith might come into play if the salary cap will allow.

    HOOK'EM HORNS!!!!!!

NBA players love Texas. Always have, always will. It's the finest college in the entire world and does more for society that even the U.S. Government does. Even Aggies and Sooners should throw up horns out of respect for what THE University of Texas does for all.

Have you guys already forgotten the Dwightmare? Even if he says I want to play in Houston, it really doesn't mean much. Until he signs on the dotted line anything he says doesn't mean much.

Think this is a pretty deliberate gesture..

    Of how much significance..?

    Who knows.

The fact that Harden also did it also certainly lends itself to increased speculation.

From Dwight's perspective, he has got to, at the very least, respect Houston. He is essentially the new villain in the NBA. Everyone has pretty much turned on him including his current team.

The Rockets have been pursuing him since possible and even when he made moves to prevent their acquisition of him, have remained committed in their pursuit. He doesn't have many friends left and the Rockets have made it clear they would very much like to be one of them. Houston clearly wasn't where he dreamed of ending up but in light of the last two years of his career, I'm sure it is looking more and more appealing. Persistence prevails.

Having Yao,Mutumbo and the artist formerly known as Akeem around doesn't hurt either.

This!! I agree we already have a good starting C in Asik at a bargain price, we need a good PF to put us over the top. using the max on DH12 will be a big mistake, i used to want him here but after he turned us down it was a sign he doesnt belong here and the current Lakers team shows us why

I'd bet that guy would sign with the Rockets for the NBA minimum.
