I agree, was just stating this could mean he's furthered his interest. By no means is it a lock and i still believe leaving 30 mil on the table in LA is alot to give up

Unless it is a city which he is connected to (like any other city he has ever lived in).

Dwight has zero connection to Houston. Unless having his people say he doesn't want to play for the Rockets is a connection lol.

If Harden played here and we played in a system where chandler parsons was taking twice as many shots as him I wouldn't blame him. You can tell he doesn't fit there. That franchise is screwed for the near future. Kobe will retire a Laker which means they will get nothing for him to revitalize their organization. Pau's value has been dropping like a socket wrench since "Basketball Reasons" trade happened. I believe they don't even have a first round pick this year. They have no salary cap flexibility. Why would he stay there? It would be different if they were a 3 seed right now, but they clearly don't work well together and they don't have time to gel because Kobe is done in 2 years or so.

Dwight is not playing at 100 percent and he leads the league in rebounding. He is shooting a decent percentage. You can see his demeanor on the court, he looks like a lost dog out there. We are the perfect place for him. A large market, with a young superstar with understanding fans. You have to do something pretty bad for most Houston fans to boo you or want you gone.

I completely disagree. I've argued it many times in various Dwight threads. Main point: Dwight might never recover from back surgery.
Moreover, dude is a clown and has no place on this team, but we'll see I guess.

As to your point about Kobe jacking up shots - Parsons is not Kobe. And Dwight wants post touches - where he fumbles the ball off his own foot half the time or clunks a hookshot. He doesn't run for PnR. He doesn't defend or move his damn feet. Dwight's value is in his defensive abilities - but this year he has shown none of it. So what are you getting? A great rebounder who is extremely limited offensively? I'd prefer Asik + star PF.

First he just put his arm up. Then he started pumping it. Could mean nothing or it could be just a little sign.

I feel like the "foot massage" discussion during Pulp Fiction is very similar to the one about the hand sign....

Wow, I didn't think too much about it.

But that grin and that hesitation on the sign...He knows what he's doing and how it's going to be perceived. It doesn't mean he's signing with Houston. It does mean he toying with the idea and enjoys the attention.

Yeah, it might not mean he's really going to sign here, but it wasn't innocent and it wasn't accidental.
